  • hey guys Im 5'9 147lbs., I want to have sixpack abs at the same time build some muscle. Problem is I don't know what exactly routine to follow, do I have to do cardio and lift weights to lose the fat or just lift weights alone??? cause some said doing cardio will burn up my muscle.

  • @ball4life27 I do a lot of cardio I play football(soccer) i'm very active I play very frequently and eat healthy, although I don't have a toned physique or a six pack i'm thin and l have an okay physique so i would say do some weight lifting for toning those muscles and the cardio for keeping the fat build up at bay.

  • @ball4life27 Cardio hardly burns up muscle, it burns calories. Just don't overdo it so your body won't use up your reserves. Protein generally helps with building muscles. There's plenty of websites that give explanations.

    No it's fine for beginners, the weights you use are only what you can manage, the workouts are challenging but they have to be to get results, but anyone can do it. This system makes it easy to get fast results as long as you're determined.

  • Need some help, Im a 11 stone guy aged 18. Bad diet, Cant do a pull up or a proper pushup, yes im being honest, IS this workout going to work for me, Or is it too hard for a starter? If its too hard, any other reccomendations?

  • @TheEinstienian i think its fair to say they both have their good points but personally I find athlean-X the best on the market cos not only is it designed for fast, athletic results and healthy PRACTICAL life plan but more cos jeff seems a really genuine, awesome guy totally on everyones wavelength!! the way jeff presents this work is motivating in itself and i didnt find those sort of elements with P90X

  • @TheEinstienian neither one is better they are both equally as good but i would suggest doing both p90x and this program so that way you have a variety of different exercises to do.   • Jeff when you talked about rehab work with Adam, was that more of a personalized program, or is rehab stuff built into AthleanX? I am coming off of a major ankle injury, and a bunch of small pains due to all the sitting in front of a computer I do. I really want to do AthleanX, but I want to make sure I rehab while getting stronger as well.

  • im in the navy, and being in small spaces doesn't really give me a chance to work out the way i traditionally did, but after wathing some of your videos, i now have a better outlook on how to use space, and lack of sufficient equipment more efficiently, and better ways to do traditional exercises to help me when i'm ashore. Great workouts and keep doin what your doin, your an inspiration to a lot of people who want to change their lives for the better!

  • Jeff I just wanna say that your Preworkout Poison video really opened my eyes, especially after explaining in thorough detail what the effects of 1,3 Dimethylamylamine has on the human nervous system and the brain in regards to stroke. My friend and I have been using Jack3d for about a year now, and always enjoyed the rush and pump for every workout. Last week my freind had a stroke when we were at the gym and now he can't speak or feed himself. Jeff, you saved my life.

  • @thierrydc No, he and I both have Chron's so our nutrition is and has to be mint, and there is and was no hereditary chance or warning signs of a stroke at all. Both the hospital, his neurologist and his rehab specialist said that they've seen dozens of cases like this and the direct similarity for young athletes is that they are using supplements containing this ingredient. I'm not saying it should be banned, but of all the products sold at GNC, THAT should be the ONE thing analyzed by the FDA.

    I work full-time have a wife, two kids and a 3 hour commute.

    As you get older you get less and less time for yourself but exercise becomes more important.

    You wouldn't skip a shower if you were short on time.

    You might take a quick one but you'd take one.

    That's why I like Athlean-X, fast and effective.

  • @castill0PR7 Im 17 and just brought the system and although its only a few weeks in and not yet showing the signs greatly i feel a lot stronger and the different kind of workouts are great always tricking your muscles into getter bigger and stronger so i really do suggest the program for you :)

    It's 30-45 minutes per day. A lot of workouts are even less.

    The challenges (which are lethal workouts) take less than 12 minutes.

    How busy can you possibly be?

  • @denntheidiot Hey I'm 14 and I just bought the program a week ago and already seeing results!!! There are two different 90 day workouts the stripped version that only requires (sometimes) a barbell, dumbbells, and a band and there is a gym workout that uses some machines. I definitely suggest this program and for the meal plans you can mix and match any foods in the program that you too if you don't like any of the foods.

  • I'm using athlean-x right now, and have been for over a year now. Athlean-x is the BEST program for ANYONE. When i started using athlean-x i knew nothing about fitness. I used to weigh 205. After 90 days of using athlean-x, i lost 35 pounds of fat (Also measured Body Fat Index). The best thing about this is that you can repeat it over and over again!

  • Right lets clear this up guys. These are like keep fit - get lean - get good conditioning workouts. YES your body improves, yes you will add some muscle and lose some fat. So I'm not knocking the program at all and I would definitely rather do "Burst" conditioning workouts than cardio.

    However, If you have PURE aesthetics in mind and want to obtain 'big' muscle groups I.E the natural bodybuilder look then I wouldn't use this program.

    I learnt a lot from it though
