  • Shirley Bassy scraped better than Kanye off her heel.

  • @hammerclawpc AMEN to that!

  • Comment removed

  • MGS3 Snake Eater, anyone?

  • "unlike men the diamonds linger"

    that sums it up.

  • No Youtube, the artist is not Kanye West. *fpalm*

  • my name is mom, your mom

  • Connery and Bassey and Lana Wood are the only good parts of this piece of crap.

    But Shirley Bassey always rules!

  • I love this song. I used to sing it on the way to school.

My friend HATES it. Shes got problems

  • Sean Conery is the best James Bond. And the first.

  • chaka khan putting that shit down :D

  • 1:04 What in the world am I looking at right now?

  • why does she have a diamond in her vagina

  • @parkman2000 VAGINA = DIAMONDS ...LOL

  • six foot two,

    eyes of blue,

    big james Bond

    is after you.

  • Blofeld's cat has some bling

  • That's one pimp cat

  • Moore typically gets the blame for bringing silly comedy to the Bond films but it really began here.

  • This is the worst Connery Bond film, but still best than some of the crap that came after.

  • @ElTuco84 Nah, You Only Live Twice is worse IMO.

  • Good old bond, where he wears a badass hat in the beginning like a pimp, gotta love that, wanna see craig wear that in the next one

  • This is retarded why does it have artist Kanye west on it?

  • I just got a DVD containing Dr. No, FRWL, and Goldfinger. I have no fucking clue why haven't watched it yet. :/

  • Blofeld is evil.

  • RIP John Barry.

  • yes diamonds are forever what can love do me diamonds never lie to me.

  • throw your diamonds in the sky if you feel the vibe.

  • @The00Raven00Effect I would throw my diamonds in the sky, but they got cremated

  • @plykshow that sucks

  • @The00Raven00Effect I'd throw my diamonds in the sky but Lucy took them.

  • Forget the quality of the movies, the Bond mythology is very important to 20th century civilization.

  • @calamagrostis88 METAPHYSICAL COMPETENCE !!!!!!

  • my bum was the best bond! period

  • The sexiest opening for Bond...

  • hey sean connery is also sexy james bond okey

  • Very good song :) I like how Blofeld's cat appears through the song.

  • Daniel Craig is the sexiest James Bond

  • One of my favourite Bond movies, and Mr Kidd and Mr Wint were pretty creepy.

  • Its funny because we learned in Geology that diamonds arent really forever. According to my professor, diamonds are chemically unstable so over time they will turn back to graphite.

  • SLEEP WELL, JOHN BARRY

  • Diamonds are forever beautiful!

  • Kanye made a horrible song. Made a classic a trashy song just to make money. Thats why I believe modern musicians have no idea about real music.

  • @dnieves1418 I disagree. I think West had a sublimial message about Sierra Leone and the diamond trade. But I agree that most musicians are out for bread though!!!

  • ajoy is this your cat grandfather? grand mother?

  • Does anyone else notice Sean Connery shaking about in his gunbarrel?

  • well, Kanye pwned the song!

  • this song is epic.

i love classic james bond movies. i still have those vhs!

i do not, however, have something to play vhs on... i mean come on, its 2010.

  • Although I don't like the movie that much, it plays host to the greatest death scene in the whole saga - the scene in the desert where Kidd&Wint kill the diamond courier. The music and quotes in that scene are amazing, and they are my two favourite villians.

  • I think Sean Connery was and is the best Bond and will never change. Roger Moore is my second!

  • if u liked this song look up diamonds are forever remix kanye west

  • @eminemlad26

Kanye West is no Shirley Bassey!

ok, but thumbs up to Kayne West

  • @kenrfc I agree, nobody could beat shirly bassey. I can't help but wonder why the music in this video was 'owned by kayne west' when it was shirley who made it?!?!

  • @plykshow

Kayne west did a rap mashup of this song "Diamonds of Sierra Leone" decrying the trade in Blood Diamonds. Its actually pretty good - and I am no fan of Rap.

Its a generational thing I guess. The Bond movie was done Waaay before we educated on things like Aparthied and Blood Diamonds. And even "homosexuals" weren't treated very nicely.

Think of the Kayne West version as what they might of used in a new Daniel Craig movie.

    But... Bassey is still Bassey

  • @eminemlad26 its ok...but kanye has got nothin on shirley bassey..

  • This is the one that always gets stuck in my head.

  • this is the best james bond opening song. period.

  • "I don't need love" -I knew it !

  • tiffany case is my least fav bond girl personally.

  • I find it funny the whole switch between Bonds for this movie. I bet the fans were happy.

  • I like Pierce Brosnan because he was the bond I watched when I was little. Daniel Craig is badass, but hes different. I haven't seen any Timothy Dalton and only a few Roger Moores. I think i've seen ever Sean Connery.

  • das singen wir grad im chor:)

  • Meh, take or leave this one. I actually think lazenby should have stayed on for this, crystalise his presence as bond a little more and have it be a direct sequel to OHMSS. Pity EON caved into being quite literally persecuted for trying a new, more serious approach to connery's bond and just said 'WE NEED CONNERY BACK NO MATTER WHAT!'

He looks bored as fuck throughout.

  • @madcapoperator i agree, and i don't know if it was just me but Connery didn't seem to age too well at this time. He's 40 in this movie but he looked like he was pushing 50.

  • yeah its coz he didnt take this film seriously enough after you only live twice he got out of shape and started to age he prob stopped working out or going to the gym and starting eating too many cakes that it made him look older he even looks a few grey hairs

  • @pjdr if you were wondering what it was, then perhaps my answer can clearify. Sean Connery had certain troubles that year, one of them was losing his hair and becoming gray, wrinkles those kinds of trouble(some men have that at 40). So the staff made him a hair piece, to much make-up and it was crap. That's why looks aged.

  • @madcapoperator that's not quite true, lazenby was actually offered to come back. but he declined. moore was still engaged to that spy tv show. and connery said yeah i'll do it. lazenby changed his mind but connery ahd already signed the contract. and it gave a good effect of james bond coming back with a vengance. it was like the old cold merciless single bond back

  • Very cool Bond Movie. I love it. And the song is just amazing. Shirley Bassey forever, and of course John Barry.

  • @BondHeaven007 Absolutely

  • @amarsbarr no!

  • I think thaat sean conery wil ALWAYS be the best bond actor EVER. and that will NEVER change in my opinion.

  • he wasnt the best ever he wasnt as close too the novels as some of the other actors too play bond just coz he was the first one dosent mean hes the best

  • @charlieiscool1000 k..wow...i never said because he was the first ment he was the best..I think PERSONALLY that he was the best.

  • @avril12346 Well that is just “shocking” just “positively shocking” to know thanks for sharing I share the same belief he is the original and played it so well during the years.

  • @avril12346

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Here's mine. Roger Moore is the best.

  • @superatlasman

Yes, my favorite is Roger Moore, although I do like Timothy Dalton's exotic good looks and he's tall as well, over 6 feet, that is a definite plus....LOL

  • @superatlasman Roger was good but what about George Lazenby?????

  • @avril12346 Me too

  • @avril12346 I totally agree. He is definitely my fav.

  • Favorite Bond movie. Gotta love Tiffany Case.

  • Gotta love Tiffany...! ...some Connery fans consider Diamonds to be his worst Bond film..!

  • The worst was Never Say Never Again: a way too modernized remake of Thunderball. the only thing I liked about that movie was the video game duel.

  • ...yes, Never say Never was a huge disappointment. But remember, it's not a "true" Bond film...

  • Yeah, I got to think so when I began to view the JB movies more soberly. Moore still holds the record.

  • ...I'm sorry; you're saying that Sir Roger Moore holds the record for what exactly?

  • For being the one who performed the role of Bond in the most (legitimate) Bond movies. Sir Moore had it seven times, Sir Connery six (not counting NSNA).

  • ...oh, yes you're absolutely right. And what is your favorite Bond film?

  • Got several of them, mostly for certain key elements:

*The Spy Who Loved Me: Jaws, Barbara Bach, the big battle inside the ship

*Moonraker: Jaws, Corinne Clery, the setting in space

*Diamonds Are Forever: Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd

*A View To A Kill: the title song

    *Thunderball: the underwater battle

*You Only Live Twice: the aerial battle with Little Nellie

  • ...all right. Let me put it another way... : -)... If you were on a desert island and you were allowed ONE Bond film in

your dvd collection, which ONE Bond film would it be?

  • mmmh ... most likely The Spy Who Loved Me.

  • ...interesting. My "fave" is from Russia with Love... and it's been good talking with you. Thanks for your comments!

  • never say never again was his last bond although his character in the rock is sort of a goodbye to the character

  • Never Say Never was an adaptation of Thunderball. Some of the intellectual property rights belonged to Kevin McClory but the Bond theme music, which was not used in Never Say Never were exclusive to Danjaq, the company owned by the producer of the "original" Bond films, Cubby Broccoli.

  • I think it's time we moved on from Craig as well

  • In some recent interviews,Craig mentioned that he "had an option" to do at least two more Bond films...

  • Thanks for posting these,

I've recently started watching all the bonds films from the beginning, I'm only up to thunder ball now but I already fear the end of Sean Connery as Bond, ehe can't help it.

  • very load voice expecially on full blast
