It's true that Sam didn't invent popping..popping or 'jerking' then was created by street dancers that wanted to look tough when they danced..He did,however, create boug style popping which he got the inspiration from Bill 'Slim" the robot Williams from lockers crew. He is still an OG of DANCE and a well respected one, together with his crew. If you respect dancing, you would respect whoever that dancers including their respective styles

@BBoy2Galoo well funkstyler refers to someone that does all the styles that can be danced to funk. Thus, "funkstyles" was an umbrella term like how some people refer to "popping" as an umbrella term for every style (i.e. waving, tutting, ticking, popping, animation, etc.). When I refer to "popping" I only mean someone that is flexing their muscles/whole body to music. That's what popping is to me.
