Hey, I have been playing violin for 7 years (since i was 7) just some tips:

1) Relax your hands!!! Stiff hands can make movements and transition difficult.

2) clean your violin, all the rosin thats on it can cause bild up which is bad.. (use a piece of 100% cotton)

3) try to keep a steady tempo, use a metronome if you have to... But overall you were good!! more practice and I think you would be in good shape... :D

It's pretty good but you might want to get your tempo a little bit better. Some parts, you go too slow and others too fast. I understand because that's kind of what I do when I play usually. Tone wise though, I think it's really decent.

i play violin, and im not sure about this but, maybe u should try wiping some of the rosin off? another thing is that you should try to keep your hand from cramping, this may be giving off the flat sounds.

It really depends on the bowing style you use and your posture. My teacher says that everyone has a different area of playing b/c all of our muscles are stronger and weaker in other area's

i agree with 7dancer10, your playing sounds to rushed, even with the mistakes, the few i ntoiced, it was a good job but perhaps you should find an acompanist for songs like this, not necessarily a pianoist but that would be ideal, maybe a flute...not sure...but an acompanist is needed for this piece to sound the best...otherwise you do a wounderful job ^^

you're probably seeing the camera's point of view, making it seem like the bow's completely sideways, because from how I play the violin I tilt the bow slightly  forward when I use it...

It was really good! But i have a suggestion that should improve ur playing. By using a straight wrist, you can shift easier, intonation is better, it makes ur posture look better and it makes virbrato easier as well. Great playing but try using a straight wrist and it'll be even better! ^^

There were a few parts where your rhythm was a bit off, and your pitches were in tune half of the time. Watch for your pitch before you vibrato; if it's out of tune, it'll just sound worse with vibrato. (Trust me; been there, done that, still there =__=) The part where you shifted was pretty clear and was more in tune than my shifting, so that's good. Maybe add a few slurs for decoration? :] I like your transcriptions, by the way. They're good.
