I'm assuming your monofin is made of the same material as all other monofins and it will bend just as easily. If not, then I honestly can't help you all that much. Maybe you can ask someone who has the same monofin as you for advice.

I actually do not have a wave monofin. I use the tempo and it's just as easy and safe to bend.

Yes, eventually the tail would become stretched out but that happens with most fabrics over time.
