I've been so curious as to marrying a Russian man. I'm an American woman, but half of my family values are based upon my European culture from Norway. Are there any tips you could give on how to attract Russian men in a positive light?
@lukaluei Keep in mind that Russian men have unbeliavable choices of beautiful, well educated, smart and sexy Russian women who compete for Russian men because of the deficit of them in Russia. So it's not going to be a very easy task to accomplish. But if you are a very good looking woman you should attract Russian men because you are different from the local women, and different is attractive, it's in our genes.

Russian economy is just fine and people are not looking to get out for economic resons like they did 10-15 years ago. There is a dispropotionate amount of beautiful, single, marriage minded women who can't find a good, marriage minded Russian man. Therefore a number of Russian women would consider a foreign man to have a family with. Russian women have pretty much same things available to them as Western women except not enough decent men for a relatonship.
@ApollosInsight I have a professor from Russia and he said that when he was there 4 years ago, their problem was that women in Russia and Kajikistan( pardon my spelling) far out number the men like 4 to 1. And he said Kajikistan is the impoverished country, Russia is not as bad its just population numbers thats troubling.

most Russian women are horrible people. I would say less than %5 are decent women but many of them look beautiful. It depends what you want. In England most women are fat and ugly but the majority of them are honest and sincere. Russian women are the opposite. I've got a good Russian woman but most of them should be avoided.

Russia has a surplus of "relatively speaking" beautiful women, and they can use that overseas to find a job or start some kind of career for themselves. You just chose the wrong woman, probably just fell for her external beauty but didn't bother to get to know what kind of person she was BEFORE marrying her. @RK831 There were no malls in the USSR in the 70s or the 80s, but sure, the girls were hot then as well. Only I thought it was normal since I grew up there. When I immigrated from Russia to the West it was like "where are all the pretty women?!?!?!". Really it was a shock to realize that there is such a difference in the female population.

@Stordongen . Excellent question. No things aren't bad in Russia at all especially in big cities - Moscow and St. Pete. It's almost the same as living in NYC, not much difference. Russian women generally don't look for foregn men to marry, but due to the shortage of single, marriage minded local Russian men many women are left without a partner. There are 10 million more women than men in Russia and also social issues make things worse and women really have a hard time finding a life partner.

If a woman falls in love with him she will follow him anywhere. If you married a materialistic woman it only shows that 1. your Russian wasn't as good as you think it was, and you didn't understand who you were marrying. 2. you are not a very good judge of character. @hovelfrog I only take clients who have realistic expectations. If a chubby guy in his late 40s or 50s tells me that he wants a hot 20 yo wife I will explain to him the reality and his limitations. If he wants to have a real relationship he will need to adjust his expectations. If you do find the right Russian/Ukrainian woman for you, you will be in heaven. And finding a good one is a lot easier in Russia than it is here in the US since there are more women there and they are slim and pretty

Though I don't have an axe to grind with American women as a whole, I have to say that out of the countries I have been to (germany, poland and the US of course), american women seem to more issues than women from other countries.

I dated one girl for a while that was from Ukraine. She had a wonderful personality, very caring, very sweet to me, and very beautiful. Even though it wasn't met to be, I did realize that Eastern European women tend to have a personality that I really like. Yes, many are beautiful, but you can find beautiful women in every country of the world. However, it has sparked my interests in learning to speak Russian and traveling through Ukraine and Russia.

I gotta be honest. I've dated women from the U.S., Portugal and Ukraine - the Portugese and Ukrainian woman were much more "down to earth". I found this true when visiting European countries in general. The women there are much more approachable; they don't immediately ask "what kind of car do you drive?" - LOL. I was born in Germany and have lived in the US for 29 years, no luck with American women ether. They always have baggage, or are taken. I don't understand why so many men have a problem with feminism. most Russian women are horrible people. I would say less than %5 are decent women but many of them look beautiful. It depends what you want. In England most women are fat and ugly but the majority of them are honest and sincere. Russian women are the opposite. I've got a good Russian woman but most of them should be avoided.

Russia has a surplus of "relatively speaking" beautiful women, and they can use that overseas to find a job or start some kind of career for themselves. @ijustfarted2011 Not a good advice IMO. More than 50% of marriages in the USA end up in divorce, does this mean that men shouldn't marry American women either? You just chose the wrong woman, probably just fell for her external beauty but didn't bother to get to know what kind of person she was BEFORE marrying her. That is assuming that you are telling the whole story. Usually there is always another side of the story and maybe she had a very good reason to leave you.

@RK831 There were no malls in the USSR in the 70s or the 80s, but sure, the girls were hot then as well. Only I thought it was normal since I grew up there. When I immigrated from Russia to the West it was like "where are all the pretty women?!?!?!". Really it was a shock to realize that there is such a difference in the female population.

@Stordongen . Excellent question. No things aren't bad in Russia at all especially in big cities - Moscow and St. Pete. It's almost the same as living in NYC, not much difference. Russian women generally don't look for foregn men to marry, but due to the shortage of single, marriage minded local Russian men many women are left without a partner. There are 10 million more women than men in Russia and also social issues make things worse and women really have a hard time finding a life partner.

Get on Atkins, lose the weight, walk, go to the gym for an hour 4 times a week, do weight training, get down to your optimum weight. Guess what American women will want to hit on you then. @hovelfrog I only take clients who have realistic expectations. If a chubby guy in his late 40s or 50s tells me that he wants a hot 20 yo wife I will explain to him the reality and his limitations. If he wants to have a real relationship he will need to adjust his expectations. If you do find the right Russian/Ukrainian woman for you, you will be in heaven. And finding a good one is a lot easier in Russia than it is here in the US since there are more women there and they are slim and pretty

Though I don't have an axe to grind with American women as a whole, I have to say that out of the countries I have been to (germany, poland and the US of course), american women seem to more issues than women from other countries.
Russian women on the other hand, aren't afraid to be upfront and honest. In addition to the fact that the russian women i met while i lived in europe were some of the most attractive and outgoing women I've met.

I dated one girl for a while that was from Ukraine. She had a wonderful personality, very caring, very sweet to me, and very beautiful. Even though it wasn't met to be, I did realize that Eastern European women tend to have a personality that I really like. Yes, many are beautiful, but you can find beautiful women in every country of the world. However, it has sparked my interests in learning to speak Russian and traveling through Ukraine and Russia.

I gotta be honest. I've dated women from the U.S., Portugal and Ukraine - the Portugese and Ukrainian woman were much more "down to earth". I found this true when visiting European countries in general. The women there are much more approachable; they don't immediately ask "what kind of car do you drive?" - LOL. I was born in Germany and have lived in the US for 29 years, no luck with American women ether. They always have baggage, or are taken. I was stationed in Germany for 20 months when I was in the army, and got along with German & Russian women, when we went over the border. Maybe I should check out your site. I don't understand why so many men have a problem with feminism. Feminism only means the right of a woman to vote, to get equal pay for equal work (this doesn't mean getting the same jobs as men, but if she does an equal amount of work as a man, she should get the same pay), and the right of a woman to as she pleases with her body. Completely agree with this video. Russian girls are just amazing, best in the world, smart, amazing beautiful, interesting, the way they see you when you are talking I cannot find in my country: Spain. I have been in Ukraina, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania... and....OH my God!!! every walk around is new experience. Russian women are brought up to care for future families. We know how to cook vs.microwave (lazy and unhealthy) as well as taking care of our feminine image, which means you will never see us in ugly pajamas and unwashed hair at the local supermarket! No offense to American women - It's purely cultural thing you can not learn from the book.
