Our dogs lived with us, slept with us, ate with us, played with us, etc. It's amazing how proctective they were of my children. They don't just become part of your family, your family becomes theirs. Unless they are abused, they will protect and defend their family.

Why? They already have the 3rd strongest bite of ALL dogs. And a wider head has NOTHING to do with bite strength, that's a stupid assumption. When people breed pit bulls to have bigger heads they do nothing but make their dogs look like freaks of nature, not more scary/aggressive looking.
