@gandovli According to the 5 Madhabs (4 Sunni, 1 Shia (Jafari)) having a beard is an obligation on all males who can grow one - if you remove the beard the conclusion ranges from it being demonstration of disbelief to the persons witness statement not being admitted in a sharia court due to him being a dissolute. So yes, these are obligatory no matter how much you chant that they're optional - I look at the evidence based on classical writings not on how you 'feel' about it.

By saying Allah spoke to Mariam he is not saying that Allah had a direct conversation with her (peace be upon her). Allah did no speak directly with our Prophet when the first revelation came. But spoke through Jibra'il. Was he not a messenger? Indeed he was.
It is not courteous to accuse someone of ignorance when you have only heard that person speaking for about 5-6 minutes. It is essentially a hurried and an unjustified judgment thus not Islamic.
