Hi, very nice video. Is this an easy model for first edf? My experience is a gws estarter and an gws formoza with strong brushless motors on both of them. But now i am bored of them i want something cool and fast. Do you recommend this edf for first edf?
hi pete, i tried a 3c 2100 mah today and im just wondering if there is something wrong with my brushless motor because we hand launched the plane and it dropped like a rock, have you had any problems like that?
Sure thing! The ESC is rated for up to 14.8 volts. The battery area is plenty big enough for up to a 2500mah 3S. If you choose you for some more top end speed, you can use a 2200mah 4S! =D
This looks like a really nice plane, I'm sending back the Sapac red arrow that I bought from here, you can check out its video from me. Those conards must really help!
for those intrested in this jet! "highly recommended" never flown a rtf like this EVER! its incredibly stable!! much much faster than the underpowerd sapac ef2k. i hand launched mines and it was PERFECT! (just put some packing tape under the intake). this plane is of good quality! dnt listen to what some people say about RTF planes! this is a keeper! (i purchased mines in the reciever ready virsion) happy trails!!!!
Thanks! Yes, this aircraft has extremely well rounded flying characteristics. Very docile at slow speeds yet very responsive at full throttle. Canard type jets lands so nice!
is it a 6channel?

If you have mastered the Formosa, this EDF is a nice next choice. If you feel confident with the Formosa.

hi pete, just wondering how long flight time is with standard battery?
RC1183 3 years ago
Depending on how much you are on the throttle, but a 7 minute flight would be about normal. Thanks!

You can fit up to a 2500mah 3S. I have not hand launched her yet. She sure has enough power, but I just have not tried.
