Punk went from Buddy Holly, to The Who, to The Ramones, to the Misfist, to Green Day and who ever nowdays.
The black power organization "The Black Panthers" of the 60s and 70s of course used one of (if not the) greatest rock 'n' roll guitarist of all time's image to promote black power. Jimi Hendrix was not racist, majority of those he performed infront of were white and he was married to a white woman. Rock 'n' roll is real, and metal is a heavier form of it pioneered by Black Sabbath in the early 1970s. Of course now days rock/metal clubs and scenes are white oriented. Rock 'n' roll, heavy metal, and punk were not invented being influences by white racism, I mean after all rhythm and blues was created after the Civil war in the U.S. by a black man who experienced a lot of supression by the whites. Rhythm and blues of cars is the essential form of music that created rock 'n' roll.

Where as the whites went from rock 'n' roll, to 70's rock/metal (metal was invented here), to 80s arena rock--hair metal--thrash metal etc., and now to modernized metal like death and black metal (actually 80s invented), metalcore, and folk metal. Ex: Elvis Presley (and Chuck Berry!), to Black Sabbath, to Slayer, and now to the many that play metal to this day that many white thrive around. Punk went from Buddy Holly, to The Who, to The Ramones, to the Misfist, to Green Day and who ever nowdays.

Jimi Hendrix was not racist, majority of those he performed infront of were white and he was married to a white woman.
