@THEREALD3AL "No body wants to play with me" A clever reference made in tribute to Ace ventura 2 and the scene where Jim carey takes a monster truck...in other words Fuck this song rocks!!!!
They toured with Pantera when this album first came out...the pit was the majority of the standing room...people carried out on stretchers....and happy to be so
This was a fav to play thru external speakers wired to our interior comm. Scares the hell out of haji while your groovin up theyre street in an abrams. oh shit save us alah BWAHAHAHAHA.....
White Zombie is the greatest band of all time. I seen them in concert in Lubbock, TX March of 96. There sound is 10x better live! Imagine that shit! The stage set-up was like an acid trip from hell. Fucking awesome...I've seen a hundred bands since them and none have even come close. In short...UNFUCKINBELIEVABLE! All hail White Zombie!
I remember the last time I saw rob zombie live I went all the way with the zombie look. I looked like a real zombie with long hair freaking awesome. when I get there I thought well, I dont care if Im the only one dressed like this. Dudes, all the Rob's fans were dressed the same zombie way...Ill never forget that night....I remember getting to the concert and seriously the zombie fans welcome me and shit I was like, holy crap...best night ever...full of freaks and freedom
god bless the kids of youtube. I too was jamming to this back in the day. I still get nostalgic and swim through this WZ pool. I think music is getting better actually, now people aren't forced to listen to the radio or watch TV exclusively.
Groovy track! I wish I still had my "Super Sexy Swinging Sounds" so I could try and find the remix version it has on it of this "Super Bitchi'n Song" !
i like this one better than the one on SuperSexySwinginSounds ! cuz, SSSS one doesnt have the chorus line in it ! original is better ! R.ZOMBIE ROCK ON !!
SupersexyswinginSounds was a disappointment for me. Was also a sign of the future as he went towards dance techno metal or whatever the fuck he calls it.
dude...astro creep 2000 is such a sick album. one of my favs for sure. imagine what ppl thought when it came out in the 90's. ppl were probably like :-O THE END IS NEAR!
@ExplosiveNutSack Lol astro creep 2000 was the 3rd CD I ever bought when i was 12 back in 1996. I fucking love White Zombie!!!! Old skool WZ is amazing, rock that shit bitch!!!!!
yes, but u see my friend... i was a fresh soul when this album came out. i was 5 years old. luckily i have a brother who is 10 years older than me (30) and hes is the one who introduced me to all that is great when i was a little kid growing up. it was all classic rock and 90s (mostly seattle scene) for me
actually we thought, "holy shit, this is heavier than sexarcisto!!! when is the tour?" still have my ticket, baby!!! pensacola. helmet opened. yeah bitches!!!!
@ExplosiveNutSack When this album came out, all I remember was the bottom of a tequila bottle and all night parties. Can't stay up past 10pm now......ha
@ExplosiveNutSack marylin manson was teh shit in the 90's.....the end WAS near.....then the true anti-christ justin beiber came from the pits of hell to punish us.
Ppl were like 'this album is so fuckin' awesome that I'm gonna snort 7 grams of PCP at the concert and make ppl BLEED in the PIT ;) '95... One of the best concerts I ever attended.
@ExplosiveNutSack I remember buying this when it came out,not expecting too much, just mostly curious after loving la sexorcisto. Though not blown, speakers I played it through never quite sounded the same, that shit needed VOLUME, and I almost suffered a heart attack from jumping around the house like a psycho.
And Tempesta blew me the fuck away, they couldn't have picked a better drummer for the album, genius solid heavy industrial machine rhythms from hell. Still gives me goosebumbs! Fuck.
@ExplosiveNutSack Astro Creep came out in the middle of the Pearl Jam grunge era. It was the best, and just about only, great new metal at the time (w/Soundgarden * Alice in Chains). The thought wasn't "The End is Near", it was "Thank God! I thought it was the end of music already!"
@Sledge1776 are you kidding? 1995 was one of the greatest years for metal and hard rock- check out clutch's self titled disc, life of agony- ugly, meshuggah- destroy, erase, improve, down- nola, sepultura- roots, nevermore- in memory ep, fear factory- demanufacture... the list goes on...
@borderlineretarded 1995 had some great new bands, but they werent getting any play, and Zombie was. Yeah, I'm a huge Clutch fan, loved me some Down, saw Fear Factory live... but none of those bands were on the radio & MTV w/Zombie, it was all crap on the radio.... kinda like it is nowadays.
I bought this album the day it came out. My 8th grade class thought i worshiped satan O.o
If it wasnt for trading my copy of Monster Magnet's "Dopes to infinity" for "LA Sexorcist: devil music volume 1", my musical tastes could have worked out quite differently. Dont get me wrong; 'dopes' is a fucking awesome record but, REALLY found my niche in white zombie.. and Rob still doesn't recall that GUITAR SOLOS SHOULD STILL BE A PART OF HIS BAND :P
Nice fhresh & i don't see nothin bad bout his solo work. Love everything of rob zombie. Just more people constantly bitchin & moanin. Also i always wondered what is the meanin of this song.
