  • I'm a HUGE AMWAY supporter. They also support the unification of the Christian Reformed Church and the Reformed Church in America. They make great product; many, many millions of people have thrown off the chains of 9-5 for the freedom of AMWAY. PLEASE support this great company! It is a win-win situation! Number don't lie: remember the circles!

  • "Winners" would treat this opportunity with the unbridled contempt that it deserves and focus on their own "Dreams", not those spoon-fed to them by a greedy Corporation with a history of lies, deceit and controversy that only an Idiot would overlook. Whatever historic credibility Amway may have had as a direct-sales Organisation has long since been destroyed by the AMO's.

...Do you even relate to the concept of "Sales" in Amway?

    ....Thought not.

  • @ezra4545 Fine Words. Totally wasted on the Amway opportunity though, sadly.

A self-contained, low cost, "business in a box" subscribed to by millions across 50 yrs with a 99% failure rate, where all freedom of thought and action is subverted to a failed system of control and manipulation as promoted by a handful of greedy, profiteering Scum who falsely promote Dreams of wealth and freedom, whilst lining their own pockets by flogging recycled motivational tools to a captive market...

  • Nice tools factory....looks like a profitable business (especially with a captive market of millions of deluded Amway IBO's worldwide buying this shit)

    ...Very Good indeed.

  • @steveh777ify Yes, they make money from tools. So what? Who cares? Big deal. Are they supposed to lose money when providing training materials for people? You know ur supposed to guide people you sponsor huh? All these purchases are discretionary to the extent people see them as useful. As long as you can still make money from Amway starting out and beyond, that's what matters. Everything else is secondary. No, we are not captive and its not shit. Its useful just like any industry having tools.

  • @colombialover Sounds like you are around 3 - 6 months in???

You will find that the rallies/seminars and motivational tools-dependency indeed makes money...just not for you. As an IBO your primary function is to provide revenue to the likes of Yager (who for decades swore he was not making a cent from "tools" until his business was fully exposed by other Kingpin Distributors demanding a bigger cut of the profits)

    Remember: Dex Loves Ya! (cont..)

  • @steveh777ify Its irrelevant. As long as you can retail and build a network from Amway products, thats all that matters. How can I expect leaders to train their IBO's and recruits @ a loss from their AMO's? That's idiotic. No, I was sponsored in 1997 and quit 2007. I re-sponsored in 2008 and quit again. Re-sponsored in 2010 and not quitting EVER again. I did nothing those previous times, except go to meetings. They make money from meetings? GOD, I HOPE so. Y would I want them to lose $.

  • @colombialover And you SHOULD care, because this is the Cult based scam you have fallen prey to. See how "discretionary" these tools are a little way down the line, and having been to an Amway Rally. The obscene wealth flaunted as being Amway generated is a LIE. It is System tools generated, and only available to a few. No offense, but you are Amway cannon-fodder, like millions before you.

Don't take my word for this...just stay with the program and find out 1st hand !

  • @steveh777ify But yes...there is a high turnover. But SO WHAT? This is a business where ANYONE can join. There is a high turnover in other self employed independent businesses like Real Estate, Insurance Brokerage and Stock brokerage. Its no different and they have to incur there respective expenses too. Thats life as a independent business person. I don't complain about AMOs because no one FORCES me to buy them. They are suggested and I DO find them useful. Small $ meetings and stuff. Write of

  • @steveh777ify I have stayed and have nothing bad to say. I have been in for more than 10 years...inactive but going to meetings and have quit two times. Nothing bad to say sorry to say to you. I did nothing but now I am for the next two years. Amway uses motivation like ANY other large company uses it for sales and marketing. Stop the double standard.

  • @colombialover Interesting perspective, and Thanks.

However, the abuses of the AMO's (Amway Motivational Organisations) are well documented. I can only base my comments on my own extensive experience, documented statistics re. the failure/attrition rate and other information. You can obviously draw your own conclusions based on your experience. With respect, your Amway involvement sounds more like a social outlet than a business...and that's fine and dandy....

  • @colombialover However, this is not the ethos presented by Amway. They are suggesting that total involvement and adherence to the "system" (since when has a weekly purchase of remaindered books and recycled tapes deserved such a description, but there you go..) will make you wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice in 2-5 years. Pure Bullshit and Lies. Furtermore, it is deliberately false to suggest this is remotely possible. No, the deal is that Amway Corporation...

  • @colombialover have duped millions of well intentioned people into being the most dedicated, cult-assimilated, on-message, defensive, loyal and UNPAID workforce that any corporate could wish for. In terms of cynical, exploitist sales-methodology they wrote the book. Read my lips here: 99.6% OF IBO'S LOSE MONEY. Is it really so difficult to comprehend???

  • @steveh777ify This is like any self employed business like stockbroker/bond broker, realtor/mortage broker, insurance profession. In those professions, frequently, work is commission only. If offered salary, its for a limited time after a trial period. No, we are not brain washed. We just have a different OPINION than you and YOU cannot handle that. I know many people who have NO INTENTION of building a business. Yet, they register JUST to purchase products. Blows your puny mind heh?

  • @Steveh, Look I respect your view but disagree with your conclusion. When an Insurance/Realtor/StockBroker etc thinks about starting in those businesses, they KNOW their is high turnover. Plus, they have to incur varying expenses just to start. I can guarantee you, that the people who make it don't let that fact STOP THEM. In venture capital investing, does the fact that most starts lups lose VCers money stop them from looking for the one that will more than make up for the loses? NO!

  • @colombialover I can only make general comments. Individual aspiration is a personal matter, and a lot of people have benefitted by the motivational stuff, for example, which they may otherwise have not accessed.(though they can get hold of this stuff for free if they so desire) All I would say with certainty is those people expecting to get wealthy, even with a relentless work-ethic and immense drive over several years WILL be disillusioned. It's a straightforward "Churn and Burn" Operation.

  • @Steveh, your attitude for risk/reward would lead people to take no risks at all due to fear of loses in business or investments.

  • @steveh777ify As far as being duped? No. You can say that to all the people who have worked all their lives without trying other stuff out and are now being raped by the "system". 401Ks disappearing and Pensions evaporating. People being asked to take under-employed jobs with no benefits. No, THATS the scam. At least, I will try SOMETHING to avoid that at old age and that may evolve as time goes by. Go to school and get a good job? No. THATS The scam!

  • @colombialover You make some good points, and I agree that the conventional wisdom re.careers/jobs is also totally flawed. I respect your viewpoint, but sincerely believe that Amway are the last people you should hang your aspirations on. Their corporate greed, deceit and track-record of monumental IBO failure is part of the problem, not the solution. Any business method with a failure rate INXS of 99% is highly questionable. Amway, however, turn this on its head and suggest that this...

  • @colombialover Oh, and there's no valid comparison between other industries investing in "tools" and the Amway Motivational Organisations systematic deception.

This is disingenuous nonsense. A Plumber does not need to buy the same tool EVERY week, yet this is what you get with the Yager system....endlessly recycled, repetitive and redundant motivational fixes repeated ad nauseum. Why not just hook yourself up to the AC supply for a less costly Buzz?

  • @steveh777ify FYI, 2008 Global Sales, 8 Billion. Now, I suppose you want speakers to pay for there air fare, hotel stay etc when they are invited to speak somewhere? As long as your able to have a chance to build good Amway Business thats all that matters. Everything else is secondary. Like I said, tools are VOLUNTARY to the degree you see them as useful. Case closed. On balance, Amway runs as honest a business including with AMOs as any other large entity which is why they are 50 Years old.

  • @Steveh777ify Amway gives people a CHANCE to build volume with LOW ENTRY Cost. What people do with that chance is up to them with no guarantees like with any business. Thats the end of story really. As far as tools, its a non issue and I HOPE and PRAY to GOD that they make money while running it. Why should they lose money while running a training system. AMO's are just crash courses for people who have no sales skill to learn little by little. Its like tony robbins wt business mixd.

  • @colombialover (cont.) is a factor of the Losers/Quitters who get involved. It isn't....the business plan is inherently and demonstrably flawed, as any mathematician could inform you. The big money is the system tools revenue, hence the de-emphasis on selling, and the over-emphasis on sponsoring and self-consuming. There is little or no examination of the bonus schedule, just a blind faith doctrine of "fake it till you make it" (Huh?) What sort of business plan is that?

  • @steveh777ify Nobody forces me to buy any tools. I dont care who profits. If I find them uself, I buy them. If not, I dont. Blows ur mind, huh? Dont think so.....
