@metalweenis Listen to Kamelot, and the old work of Sonata Arctica. Both are power (bit of prog) metal, which is this genre, and they've got a great vibe to them. Especially Kamelot, which can just blow you away =)

@masterpatric07 Though some people in the know have suggested that perhaps the Dream Theater guy is even better than Iommi and is second only to Iommi in his influence in the metal scene. By the way, I say Yngwie Malmsteen with Doogie White and I couldn't believe how good that guy's voice is. This little pudgy British guy walks out onstage with a white undershirt, he almost looked homeless, and then--a voice from heaven comes out of him. So, I'm going to check out that Cornerstone band too!

Somebody could say that when Cobain was alive, he was better than Dave Murray of Iron Maiden simply because Cobain's playing style fit the music better. If you want to compare, compare apples to apples.

The drummer on this track is now with Cradle of Filth (who btw suck some serious goat cock). The current drummer is some german kid whose channel i just subscribed to. He does some good Mike Portnoy stuff. This aint my type of metal but i find this interesting.

Tried to click the reply button, accidentally thumbed you down :/ Sorry. You need to listen to more symphonic power metal. Symphonic power metal is not as common as ordinary power metal.

This is symphonic power metal :) So it makes it better. And look at rap, country (Defiantly country, and bubblegum pop. They all pretty much sound the same with different music. With power metal (All rock really) similarities aren't plenty. There are some popular styles though.

American? Not all American music is bad. When you say American music, do you mean ALL or American metal or what? Even if you pick a genre, not everything in that genre is bad. Most music sucks now a days period. The problem is that it seems that everyone and their mother has a band these days. Too many of the wrong people think that they can be a musician, but there is still good music that comes out of any country. And then there's the bad business side of this as well.
