@medmar76 They didn't disappear. "Couldn't Get It Right" was 1976, "I Love You" was 1980. The latter song caused so much stress for the band internally that they eventually broke up, although they reunited later with a modified lineup.

Interesting how "Couldn't Get It Right" was credited to The Climax Blues Band, yet this one is The Climax Blues Band featuring Derek Holt. Kinda gives you an idea why the other members are so bitter about this otherwise beautiful piece.

Never known him to be arrogant, though - quite the opposite. You're right about him being a great musician tho - no-one better in terms of his ability to play any style, any time anywhere and with anyone. I don't remember Glenn Hughes playing the Grapes though.
