I haven't tried a high C but I think it would work no problem.I'm sticking with the low B right now because of the music that I'm doing with the bass. The low string is more of what I need with the tunes. My BG's are six strings so I do miss the high C on the NS.
If I ever have the gig that demands it, or I win the lotto (or play the lotto), I'll have an EU 6 (you could always upgrade, ya know). I have one NS already, so I can't justify parting with all that bread, especially when mine is so great! But a sixer should would be great!
Nice job! One question... Have you ever tried to put a high C string in your bass instead of the low B? Do you think the nut this would require any changes in the nut?
this is not a bass ,its a contrabass

Intonation is a bit off at parts, as well as tempo, but overall sounds good!
