I like the logical and biblical approach taken in this video and he makes some interesting points. John 17:3 is referenced at time 20:30 and the argument in the video makes sense. However, I'm having trouble understanding what the Islamic doctrine on verse 5 is, where Jesus claims to have shared glory with God before the world began. Any help would be appreciated.

If Jesus was God, why did He say "The Father is greater than I" in (John 14:28)? If Jesus was god than he should be equal to the father. And notice that he didn't say MY father, he said THE father. When Jesus was dying on the cross why did he say, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). If he was god, then why would he be complaining to himself? These are quotes directly from the bible, you can't just ignore them.

No one in the New Testament called him 'Immanuel.' Immanuel means 'God is with us' and is found in Isaiah 8:8. A similar name is Ithiel which means 'God is with me' and is found in Nehemaih 11:7.

I enjoyed the video. The points seemed to be taken from an existing point of view that Jesus was not God. Some of the points do raise interesting thoughts but it does exclude the leap of faith that all Faiths throughout the world require the person believing to take. After watching the video, I still believe Jesus to be lord and the redeemer of my soul. However, I do have a further understanding how Muslims and Judaism interpret and understand the works of the New Testament.

I agree with this. I'm a Catholic and up to know I am still asking myself about the Holy Trinity thing. Most of us Catholics think Jesus is God itself too but in my own humble view, Jesus was sent by God to save the world and teach God's word, and not to take place of his Father. Peace be upon you!

Even though I'm a christian, this was a very good discussion on the trinity. I've never believed in the Trinity as it was to me, in essence, polytheism. So while not a muslim, it was interesting to see that muslim's believe in part, similar to other monotheistic religions.

This video makes perfect sense to why Jesus isn't God and I love it when things make sense. I'm not a practicing Muslim (not sure if I'll ever be) but at least I know God isn't a human. God is only one and Muhammad, Jesus, and all the rest were his prophet. As long as I know that I'm happy.

If Jesus was God, why did He say "The Father is greater than I" in (John 14:28)? If Jesus was god than he should be equal to the father. And notice that he didn't say MY father, he said THE father. When Jesus was dying on the cross why did he say, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). If he was god, then why would he be complaining to himself? These are quotes directly from the bible, you can't just ignore them.

Matthew 23:9 Clearly says."And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven."
So now you are saying that adam is son of god and mozes was son of god and all the other prophets were son of god.

No one in the New Testament called him 'Immanuel.' Immanuel means 'God is with us' and is found in Isaiah 8:8. A similar name is Ithiel which means 'God is with me' and is found in Nehemaih 11:7.

I'm a Catholic. I've studied and researched, in great depth, to satiate my profound curiousity of whether or not I belong to the true Christian faith. I asked myself: "Why am I not Orthodox? Why am I not Protestant?"
Then I thought: "Well, why am I even a Christian?" lol
Then I asked myself "Well, why am I not a Muslim?" LOL
So, I'm looking for a *well spoken* Muslim to help teach me about Islam. Dare I say it, even revert. I don't know, yet.

I enjoyed the video. The points seemed to be taken from an existing point of view that Jesus was not God. Some of the points do raise interesting thoughts but it does exclude the leap of faith that all Faiths throughout the world require the person believing to take. After watching the video, I still believe Jesus to be lord and the redeemer of my soul. However, I do have a further understanding how Muslims and Judaism interpret and understand the works of the New Testament.

I agree with this. I'm a Catholic and up to know I am still asking myself about the Holy Trinity thing. Most of us Catholics think Jesus is God itself too but in my own humble view, Jesus was sent by God to save the world and teach God's word, and not to take place of his Father. Peace be upon you!

Before this the word God never existed.The name Jesus as known in English is actually Esu and in Arabic Essa the J is suppose to be silent. Even though I'm a christian, this was a very good discussion on the trinity. I've never believed in the Trinity as it was to me, in essence, polytheism. So while not a muslim, it was interesting to see that muslim's believe in part, similar to other monotheistic religions.

If father Adam sinned and we all are born sinners then he did not ask my permission to sin and if as you say Jesus died for sin and he also did not ask me for that. @jihadexposed I will explain, you have to differentiate between beyond logic and against logic. This is important God is omnipotent and that is beyond our logic but God cannot exist and not exist at the same time this is against logic.
Lets go down to human level, can you be smart and stupid in math at the same time? That is an impossibility. If you are smart in math then you cannot be stupid in it. The term "can't" is used in a good way not in a demeaning way to show the attributes of God.

This video makes perfect sense to why Jesus isn't God and I love it when things make sense. I'm not a practicing Muslim (not sure if I'll ever be) but at least I know God isn't a human. God is only one and Muhammad, Jesus, and all the rest were his prophet. As long as I know that I'm happy.

Yes God created a miracle, he created him without a father
and he had special powers just like the rest of the prophets
example: The Prophet Moussa Could do magic and ofcourse he isn't got, god gave him this power to prove to people that he is a prophet from god
and Prophet Sulaiman(Solomon): he could control the wind, talk to the animals and melt metals in his hand God just gave him this power to let people believe in him
same as Jesus, he gave him powers to let people believe

@hereHehereHE Of course! All the power is in Allah's (God) hands! But is he not able to give power to whoever He wills from his Creation?? If we were to follow what you're saying than we should worship all Prophets (as mostafamesiry has said, all Prophets came with miracles). BUT, by the will of Allah! Take us humans as an example, we are alive, we have human abilities. But from who? Our selves? Of course not! By the will of Allah (SWT). If it wern't for Him we won't be alive! Hope that helped!
