  • Shut up hippie

  • Canadian's club baby seals to death for their fur, how stupid can you get, just for a coat! Money has corrupt us all! About time we thought about what is really truly important instead of devoting our lives to seaking as much money as possible.

  • Its possible to capture a 1000 lbs fish

  • damn man damn

  • i was talking to a diver that dive in the niagara river,,,,and he thought it was a telephone pole ,it wa 8ft long....he clued in when it got closer.....he was holding on to a rope tide to shore....the sturgeon whas swiming up stream...

glad there protected....and the girls..think they smell ..well...fishy?

they looked like they were having fun..

  • If that was filled with caviar, it would be worth like....

  • COOL VIDEO!

  • wat een kutfilm.

  • yep 131 might be 1000 lb

well its the closest and that is one mother fuckin big fiish

  • Badass vid. But those are no 1000lb fish. I would let those ladies hold my sturgeon anyday

  • Let me tell you straight up, not one of those fish was 1000 lb...

  • This looks like Washington or Oregon state.Beautiful Sturgeon guys! That's allot of fish n chips right there.

  • i need this song..? to download how name is ??

  • @vvetton Its tool. Undertow is the album. Song 3 I do believe.

  • holy shit, thats some big boys right there! Would love to try sturgeon fishing.

  • in fact,,i just did some research and the largest known sturgeon caught was under 600 pnds,, ,,tho unconfirmed reports are over 5000 pnds,, but thats ,,myths,, documented catches,, none over 600 pnds,, .. am i wrong?

  • @BigJasonStud

Look up the Idaho state record for sturgeon 1908 caught with set line, 675lbs. Rod and reel 394lbs 1956. Official world record is 468lbs.(CA) Set line does not count.

  • 1000 pnds?? meh im sry the biggest ones were maybe 500pnds,, 1000 pnds is like,, 5 big men,, now way was any one those bigger than 2 big men,, 500pnds max,, still huge,,but,, have a look at like,,1000pnd sharks,,they are shitloads bigger!! still cool vid =)

  • Thats in Canada. They are lucky to have rich and untouched nature. 1000 lb fish is not a joke.

  • meh, ive gotten bigger, just dont ask for any sort of proof o.0

  • I think we found nemo... and maynard.

  • i would have brought that fish home and had a great feast in my meade hall.

  • sturgeon are the top dogs in the water hands down

  • EPIC! I love this ELUSIVE beast! A true testament to a SKILLED angler!! Thanks for this!!!! REVERE in this great wild BEAST!! Catch and Release!!!

  • It's obviously not 1,000 pounds. That's as much as a horse weighs, And NO ONE can lift a horse. So I say it probably weighs around in the 100s.

  • @horselinda123456789 I dont know if you noticed but that is 7 nobodies holding up the big one. And i think 7 people could lift a horse...

  • That was a fantastic video, maybe we will see you next summer!!

  • Song name?

  • @Nobody1846 do ur research before you post a comment hes not a murderer if you live in canada or anywere the white sturgeon lives then it is a endagered species and is ilegal to kill this is called catch and release so they catch the fish and release it they dont kill it

  • @Starwarslegobuilder they're legal to keep in wa. as long as they're within the slot limit. Those oversized ones that they are holding up are not suppose to be taken out of the water at all. You can get in a lot of trouble just for that in wa

  • FUCK you Murder!

  • @Nobody1846 tw@ they were all released alive

  • I still think its amazing that people can bring in these massive fish with such a small line, i know you fish for Sturgeon with braided line or something along the lines of that, but still, your pulling up a half ton animal with a hell of a fight on it with only basically a string. congrats to you guys.

  • The fish is a bum you say?

    I never knew o-o

  • 1000lb all together

  • I didn't see a 1000 lb fish!

  • @t69gto try 1:31 :)

  • fraiser river is catch n release only so if anyone took any home they were poaching , and thats big issues up here. fun ta catch but gotta leave tehm in the river to make more monsters.

  • retard? ya keep on going through life not respecting nature and OVER killing endangered species, the future is doomed with overpopulating rats like you DON"T BREED, but you will and drive us down to the very last drop of drinkable water that YOUR kind will piss in.....why can't "

serial killers" start on your "kind" it's always the good that pay the price of you selfish monsters....

  • @alexene66 The Fraser River is catch and release, so why are you so hurt over this?

  • 4:05 is awesomeness :)

  • it is illegal in most places to eat sturgeon because they are apparently almost extinct in north america.

  • @tazdevilman1 They're restricted in many ways. Size windows and what have you. Not illegal. SOmething this big shouldn't have been removed from the water, those big females make THOUSANDS of babies. In Washington it's something like 48 inches to 60. Or less. THese big breeders get poached for their eggs, but assholes, but for the most part, people catch and release them. If they can bring them in to begin with.

  • @blatantmisconception i checked my info on government web sites as i said illegal to eat, you can catch and release but not keep or remove the eggs or the fish.

  • what bait did you use

  • I would barely give it 300 pounds

  • thank god, at least someone has good taste in music.

  • i seriously doubt that was 1,000 pounds it would have snapped the line

  • GREAT TO EAT !!!!!!!!!

  • @wsherlock56 umm its illegal to eat sturgeon stupid!its like legit illegal because they are almost extinct....

  • @hannahbanana09091 Let me tell you it IS NOT ILLEGAL TO EAT STURGEON....the laws are different everywhere you go. Here in California we catch em and fillet them and eat them.

  • i think the song is schism looks like upper columbia

  • i think the song is schism

  • @Benjameenx509x The song is Flood, by Tool of course

  • @pissedoffatyahoo thank you

  • Name of the Song and band please...

  • good to hear some tool on a video.

  • ha @ 0:32 he's just like "wtf, is this a shark?" sweet video

  • nice

  • awesome song i dont even need to see the slideshow to know its epic

  • NO CANADA HAS BETTER EVERYYTHING, TRAILER PARK BOYS HANDS DOWN BEST TV SHOW INVENTED BY MAN!!!!

  • 1000 pounds? My ass hole that's no bigger then 300, maximum.

  • Damn those girls make that fish look ugly at 1:45

  • Hope the people released!

  • and people ask me why I don't swim in canadian lakes and rivers.

  • awesome

  • That sturgeon must have been 60-100 years old because sturgeon don't grow that huge until after many decades have elapsed.

They're known for their longevity and as far as I know, only one other type of fish can outlive them and that is the Japanese colored carp or koi.

  • 1:41 I got a dick !

  • Comment removed

  • tool+fishing+sexy girls = epic

  • I would like to fish some humans, (not endangered) so I guess you could "gut em" and put em the freezer.......why can't serial killers be "cool hunters"

  • @alexene66 your a tree hugging retard people are ment to eat meat we are not cows we are wolves a preditor by nature

  • This jackass re-uploaded this video from someone else and re-named it. Be creative and make your own video of these amazing fish!

  • Most of these fish weren't released. Look at the dropped jaw. Their already dead.

  • gp to 1;56 blonde in middle\

  • hell no dos girls did not!... Catch dos god dam stureon.... or did they

  • that place is gourgeous wher is that

  • Danger of extinction :

Wikipedia also says that according to a conservation society, the sturgeon is the species of fish that's in the greatest danger of extinction and there are a few or more reasons for this, but fishing them like shown in this video clip is surely an example of one of the reasons ; overfishing them. They apparently can't reproduce before 20 years, and they have a long life span, 100 or more years, but they're reportedly in great danger of extinction.

  • @mikecorbeil they Catch and Release

  • @mikecorbeil dont use wikipedia as a reference lol

  • @mikecorbeil That's because people who catch them don't know if their endangered. When I go fishing I bring a book with me that tells me whats endagered and whats not. The book is approved by wildlife Fish and game and my honest opinion is that everyone should have one cause it has everything you should know.

  • @MrRayquazaking The book you refer to certainly sounds like a good one to keep handy.

  • @MrRayquazaking Furthermore, and in case I didn't already say this, I lived and worked in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, 1989-94, and Ontario's Fish & Game govt agency or department, whatever it is, used to study the waters of the province, including brooks, and the book or guide would tell readers of what fish could be found in any particular body of water, plus what the pollution levels were, and what size fish were considered safe for human consumption. For me, it was important and handy.

  • @MrRayquazaking And we need to be careful. The guide from the Ontario govt didn't speak only of pollution or poisoning due to humans, from what I could tell. Was member of a non-profit canoe-portaging club and we'ld regularly go to Algonquin Park. The book or guide said that same waters, which were well within the park, far from any roads, had very toxic levels of mercury, to not even eat a 10in trout! So we have to be careful of nature, as well.

  • Thesse are serious sturgeons, but none is a 1,000-pounder ; unless it's the one we don't fully see, the guy holding it in the water and by the tail. I think it's the largest one shown in the video clip, but we don't see it all, so does it weight 1,000lb ? How could you know without actually weighing it ? You couldn't.

I wasn't sure any grew that large, so checked the Wikipedia page and it says there are some sturgeons that are much larger than 1,000lb.

  • Thumbs up for the MELVINS!!!!!

  • how much caviar did you get out of it?!

  • 1:06 thats all I have to say

  • bunch of red neck ,douche bags from the lowermainland

  • not even close 2 1000 retards

  • suck my dick dont watch it

  • if its 1000 pound how do hold it?

  • 1000 pounds of bull crap

  • so if there is a 1000lb white sturgeon why is the world record set at 468 lbs?

  • good music

  • What's up with all the gorgeous women being surrounded by truck driver looking guys?

  • Yeah that wasn't 1,000 lbs at all. 310 at max.

  • 4:06 id fish with them

  • 1:32 zat look like a 1000 pound one. believe it or not

  • 1000 lbs bull shit!!!!!!!! Sturgeon only goes up 200 lbs Fucking Bull Shit Mother Fucker

  • @zzztubazzz Are you stupid? you've porbably never even caught a sturgeon let alone seen one if you live in orgeon near the columbia river you'll know that half the sturgeon you can catch are 500 pounds+ in our local bait and tackle shop theirs a 1200pound sturgeon picture...

  • @EnjoiRastaDeck yeah 500 pounds is like the norm, this and im assuming which i dont like to do "little kid" is stuck in his facts and doesnt want to admit hes wrong when finding a sturgeon over 200 pounds is as easy as going to google and putting in big sturgeon and every picture is over 200

  • @eryman17 yeah the title says 1000 lbs but that would be impossible just because they dont grow that big as you said for 2, every picture has people holding one atleast and 3 not even five full grown men could pick up 1000 lbs unless they were body builders

  • @daboredom true but its also partly in the water which makes it much easier to pick up to take the pictures they took in this video, and the original argument was from someone saying they dont grow over 200 pounds and if its as big as 3 full grown men its definitely over 200

  • @zzztubazzz yeah pretty sure most the fish in this video prove your statement wrong

  • @eryman17 if u don't knnow anything shut the fuck up mother fucker

  • @zzztubazzz do you think using swear words make you sound tough? even if im wrong your the one who sounds like an idiot and yes i do know what im talking about and i know for a fact that sturgeon can easily get over 200 pounds and if im wrong please explain who sturgeon that are 11 feet long caught on the columbia river are only 200 pounds

  • @eryman17 You are one more stupid ass American people go ask your mother, Mother Fucker

  • @zzztubazzz again not only do your statements prove you wrong, but they just make you sound ignorant its also as easy as going on google and looking up the world record sturgeon

  • @zzztubazzz didnt realize you replied to my comment and your answer doesnt surprise me and why would people go ask their mother? not alot of peoples mothers fish for sturgeon... and who says im american actually im norwegian/native american... so

  • STUPENDI ESEMPLARI!!! NO KILL FOREVER RISPETTA LA NATURA! BIG UP

  • do u guys eat this?

  • @quadzilla26b why would you eat a beutiful 100 year old sturgeon... their illegal to keep anyways

i just caught my self a 10ft sturgeon out on the columbia river 2 weeks ago in oregon

it faught for like 25 mins

  • @2011mudslinger not the white sturgeon but lake sturgeon, shortnose sturgeon, and atlantic sturgeon are some of the few

  • I don't see any 1,000 pound sturgeons, but nice choice of music. Tool is the shit.

  • look at its mouth on 2:03

  • TOOL!

  • Poor Sturgeons... :(

  • I saw a massive fish surface on the Mississippi. Do Sturgeon ever go on top waters?

  • @straightcleaner yes they do

  • wow where is it

  • At 4:05 i wish those girls would hold my sturgeon like that:D

  • what a jip

  • Fucking well fare people.

  • And you killed it

  • Here in Oregon if the fish is over 60" long you're not allowed to even take them out of the water. Nasty fine from Fish & Wildlife dept if you get caught. So do yourself (and the sturgeon!) a favor and let the big ones go- otherwise there won't BE any sturgeon to fish for!

  • Damn. MILF with sturgeons. :)

  • leave Sturgeon alone because it is on the rise of becoming extinct.

  • I guess you meant combined weight of all the sturgeon in the video.

The video only gets intersting at 1:41.

  • Ummm.....Where's the thousand pound fish?????

  • Random eagle

  • would make for some big fillets bet they taste yummy

  • fuck the fish lets see this fine ass bitches at 2:00

  • its really illegal to catch sturgeon in alberta.. they are amazing fish

  • Those of us from the NW USA are accustomed to laws restricting the removal from the water. Kennbob707, the argument is not whether they will survive or not, it is in being willing to follow the law, obey the law it gives the rest of us an uphill battle to overcome with the anti's. That being said, if it is indeed Canada and they do not have restrictions well fine, not my deal. These fish are often several hundred years old and a little extra care is not asking too much, is it?

  • @huntingjman i lived in was state where we had liscences to catch these fish in season. as long as they are over a certain length and under a certain length i think 5 ft. you can keep them. over that they go back in. many ppl look forward to sturgeon fishing and they are great eating. perfectly legal. as long as you follow the restrictions of length.

  • Do they taste any good??

  • @canadadevil they are great for fish and chips. only fish i will eat. no bones and a kinda white meat. they are awesome

  • wow canada is a gorgeous country eh! not to mention we have the most beautiful girls :)
