It sounds like a good idea, but in practice, it's a total waste of time. I've submitted songs that have been praised by other musicians and songwriters on YouTube, but are described as "boring", "like a karaoke track" (all the musicians are session musicians), "the drums are weak" (played by a session musician) and many other fatuous comments. I'm not against constructive criticism, but sadly, it seems that most of the reviewers have no knowledge of music and simply "know what they like".
