  • I actually just purchased the 502b AND a 9 uv led and they both aren't very useful for detecting fake IDs and cash... I spent about $15 for just the 502b bulb and it's wavelength is 390-400. Try shining it on an ID with uv markings, it'll still light up the markings, just not very well. The "Urine off" UV led tends to light up every uv hidden item on the IDs as well as cash. Most of the WF501B's light is white light because it's at the end of the wavelength spectrum. Bright doesn't equal useful.

  • Sorry but 410nm is not colled uv anymore

from 400nm up is called the blue spectrum and stimulates the blu cones and strangely also a little bit the red cones in the eye and creating an purpleblue also called violet color. Because we don't have cones for UV we can't see the real color of UV also the lens in the human eye blocks UV making the UV can't reach

the retina in the eye.People that have undergown cataract surgery mostly can see UV but to them it appears blueish reason:we miss uv cones.

  • Since this is U.V. light about the same nm as a bluray laser diode will it burn, if you use a magnifing glass to focus it to a point?

  • lol i,ts good xD

  • 410nm is too high :-( I hope that they will sell 375-390nm one day.

  • i was about to post the same comment omg!
