I`ll save this for a rainy winter evenig watching the wet trees trough a large window with a scoth at hand!! Thanks for posting !! (in case you wonder it`s allmost summer here)
If you would enjoy hearing Ellington's work played solo, I highly recommend Sir Roland Hanna's Duke Ellington Piano Solos. It's not the original man but it's exquisite.
The album is "Piano Reflections" - originally recorded in 1953 - CD reissue 1989 includes bonus tracks. Original release tracks include Wendell Marshall (bass) and Butch Ballard (drums). Another (much later) Duke "solo" album is "Live at the Whitney". Duke generally preferred to have bass and drums with him for his solo work, although there are numerous examples of strictly solo playing by Duke, no entire albums that I'm aware of.
what a beautiful track -- tx for posting

Thanks for posting this. I didn't know there was an Ellington album out there of just him on the piano. I'm so glad I discovered this.
