One thing i learned was how to steal a persons identity by stealing their credit card statements before they have a chance to get their mail. Although this could be used for evil, I think I will use the information to protect myself from potential identity theft. Also i learned that it is important to use separate business for domain registration and site hosting.
I learned a lot in this course. The most important was that there are many ways of making money using the internet as a tool. I learned that this is not always safe and you must always practice safe internet habits.

I recently received an email from a Prince from Africa that wanted to hide $34 000 000 000 and give me 40% if i helped. I instantly thought email filtering and the many scams we learned about.
it's NOT hard to earn marks. you just need to participate. pretty much takes common sense to do. just make it easy for richardson to find you on the class list!

Recent technologies are allowing us to better interact with each other, but unfortunately we are more exposed to thieves looking to snatch our identities or credentials. Make a strong effort to protect your personal info!
One thing that I learned in this semester is using the program, Netscape, to create my storefront. I had fun playing around with the program in building my website. It was overall a user-friendly and simple to create a simple website. Another interesting thing that I found was the pay-per-clicks advertisements. The more times you press on their link from Google, that company gets charged for every click. A good way to increase their expenses.
