It's good that you talk about people's prejudices. Yet most of us have our own share of prejudices about "gays", "mexicans", "asians", etc. I myself used to believe (when I was a whole lot younger) I would never have a partner because I didn't want to be effeminate. I also went through a phase believing only gay people enjoyed classical music. I have had two partners in my life. My previous partner played Soccer like a pro, and my current partner is a plumber (kinda straight, hey?)

People have a wide variety of behavior on the masculine-feminine scale. I feel more feminine men are gay than not. (And a hyper-masculine one also arouses my suspicions.) To me a more important question is, "why is a man with "feminine" qualities such a problem to so many people?" Most feminine guys are that way from very early on - they get treated cruelly as kids before they are even aware of it. To me it gets down to devaluation of women and the feminine.

Hell, go read the transcripts of the recent Prop 8 trial. Go read them--both sides entered every argument onto the public record.
But here's the thing. They had to put the truth on the record, right? So, guess what--much of what you put forth was not entered. Go read that transcript ONLINE for all the stats and expert testimony you please.

There was a FEDERAL TRIAL in CALIFORNIA on PROP 8. The verdict will be coming soon. You can go read the transcript of the trial and see ALL of the testimony and evidence entered by BOTH sides--the Pro Prop 8 people and the Anti-Prop 8 people.

Both of those "sources" are incredibly biased against gays & have blatantly twisted facts into a picture you seem to choose to believe in.
For example, it is true that a great number of gays have been suicidal--BECAUSE of the hatred spread by people like you--not inherently because they are gay. And many of the things listed are true of straight people.
The fact is that every accredited medical & mental health organization would disagree with you & your sources.

Drugs--many straight people do drugs. Many gays do not.
Promiscuity--many straight people are promiscous. Many gays are not.
Disgusting--in your opinion, but if referring to kink--many straight peope are kinky. Many gays are not.
Unhealthy--many straight people are unsafe. Many gays are very safe.
Nightclubs--there's something wrong with going to a club? There are way more straight nightclubs
Groups--both gays and straights do group scenes. Not all.

Lahey) this book can be found online or in your local college book store. Hating someone for being gay is just as bad as hating someone for being black. You would understand this if you knew anything about sexuality and what it really is. There are no consequences of it unless you believe in the bible. Which almost always denies fact.
