Thanks, your initial settings help a lot, and also proved the Logitec Pro 9000 doesn't have any problems with the sound usb sound recordings with Ubuntu Linux. What I found useful was also adding a DIVX tag, increasing the sound level and also the Band with, you can check out my Hello World.
