  • Whoa, hold on! Did anybody else notice Blankey popping that little mouse?! That animal abusing bastard! Somebody call for help! PETA, Greenpeace, the ASPCA, anybody, arrest that twerp!

  • lool at 4:24 xD

  • Comment removed

  • 4:44 to 5:40

Best part of the film! I've always loved the fish in the air waving his tail, the frogs making a circle and the background music! Don't forget the turtle! LOL!

  • D: I didn't forgotr how........terrible they all are. I remembered the Toaster being nice...I was actually surprised when he told Blankie to go away. I'm getting a lot more out of this movie as an adult. > >

  • @DreamSideways I fail.

    *I forgot how.

  • This whole scene has me tripping balls.

  • 0:11 Swag.....

  • Awww. Poor Blankie.

  • Flowers. Forever alone.

  • Blankie kinda reminds me of Butters from South Park, although they are parts of a totally different worlds. Anyway I love them both!

  • 1:12 holy s**t that was a big rock! I think Lampy has some pent up aggression towards Radio

  • Toaster. You should be horribly ashamed of yourself.

  • It's like a whole brand new story with the transcribed audio on. I'm loving this.

  • Haha, the fish always made me laugh

  • The Brave Little Toaster taught me that everyone in the wilderness is an asshole except those that get shit on.

  • the radio is by fart the best character! and Kirby! That flower scene may be cry aswell, still get teary, i hate that scene it's so sad. :(

  • @SpongieGal Omg, me too! When I was young I always felt so bad for the flower. It still gets to me now

  • It's funny, I loved that whole Busby Berkeley-style worm scene as a kid and then in film school I was introduced to the real thing - and the first thing I did was think of the Brave Little Toaster.

  • omg, i remember those goddamn frogs. i hated those things as a kid SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!

  • Aww the poor flower):

  • 7:04 Somehow, some of those frogs look like Donald Duck to me.

  • When I was a child, the flower scene made me cry by the bucket (it still does). I remember being afraid of ending up like that flower.

  • I always felt sorry for that wilting flower :(

  • i kind of tie these guys together like a zombie apocalypse survivor group. weird, i know. not really nice to each other and fighting a lot over minor things. you can see the blanket as a child survivor, can't fend for himself and very emotional about things like missing his parents.

  • I like the radio and his line! Lol

  • poor blanket

  • Is it weird that I actually felt depressed after looking at the flower scene? =\

  • Who is Kirby actually asking what he's complaining about, and telling he didn't do any work that day? Lampy or Radio? At first I believed (due to his facing direction) it was Radio.

  • That flower scene always bothered me

  • The flower scene didn't matter to me when I was little, But now I understand what the scene meant.

Love and company (Friends and others that love you) are essential including the natural needs. Yet, if there is no love given and you are lonely, then you slowly start to deteriorate or fall apart like the flower, and even become depressed.

Funny how I see that the flower and I are similar to each other.

  • The Radio is so HILLARIOUS! This is my sleeping space u see and nobody crosses this line!

  • Aww Id have totally snuggled with Blanket!

  • @PrincessStinarella Can't agree with you more! Besides, he deserves respect. I used to be picked on when I was little, but now, I get all the respect I need because I give respect to the others.

  • @huckhound2110 Exactly! No one leaves baby in a corner lol

  • @PrincessStinarella Only a meanie would!

  • uh why could the flower move? i mean it was a charming scene when it hugged toaster and it was sad when it started wilting but why could it move but then again appliances can move and talk why not the flower?

  • 1:19 LMFAO

  • u love how blankie just hits the mouse on the head with th photo.

......and it's all down hill from there, kids

  • Comment removed

  • The Brave little toaster and The Land Before Time was my childhood

    happy face =)

  • @DigitalSniper18 mine too :D

  • LOl, I forgot about that opera-singing fish! Hilarious stuff!

  • 1:21-1:26 any similar to Final Fantasy XIII when Vanille draws a line on her sleeping place?

  • "Go find your own place to sleep you little fuzz ball." - Lampy cracks me up! 1:35

  • That flower is the cause of all depression.

  • That flower is the cause of all depression.

  • Awww poor little flower D:

  • Radio, Radio, Radio, always optimistic.

    Sounds a bold newscaster.

  • I think I know why I have depression as a teenager now,

  • blankie is an irritating whiny little asshole

  • @sm0keshell Glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Even as a kid.

  • @discographyrosary Lol i thought that too when i was i kid

  • 5:41 Toaster is not amused.

These are really the most synicle toons i've ever seen.

  • I've always felt so horrible for that flower. Any other time I see a flower get sad in a movie, I just hate on the flower. Words of wisdom. :P

  • Time for the film to go from kid friendly to taking a dark turn.

  • so much symbolism

  • Is The Toaster A Boy Or Girl!!!!

  • I must say, this movie has so many symbols and themes, it's crazy awesome. The people who worked on this movie need more credit and applause.

  • BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!

  • Honestly, You could cut out 2:59 - 7:46 and it wouldn't effect the movies plot.

  • @juan5557903

Because the blanket is a wuss.

  • @juan5557903 They were all pissed off and needed some neutral party to project their frustrations onto.

  • It's a Narcissus...so did it fall in love with the toaster...or it's own reflection?

  • @CelestialAgony829 I think it was its own reflection.

  • I swear this is the only movie that can make you feel for a flower.

  • @bluebelt224 havent seen fern gully?

  • @WindChildsWorld Oh I've seen Furn Gully. But this flower was practically alive.

  • They're such dicks to Blankey. He never did anything.

  • Aww, poor flower. :(

  • Comment removed

  • When I first saw this as a kid I always thought that toaster was a girl.

  • anyone else supprised this wasnt a don bluth movie?

  • If the toaster didn't save the damn blanket the mice would have crucified the blanket.

Naw! I keed! I keed! But I have to admit I laughed when the blanket was being pulled down the hole by the mice, it was so chaotic lol :D

  • 4:20-4:27 lol

  • How many people would have gone back over and comforted the flower if they saw it wilting like that? Heck I would have dug it up and moved it out into the field with the other flowers. Poor thing, life just shat on it.. it's seed just happening to land in that ONE beam of light around an area where no other flowers could possibly grow. : (

  • I love the creepy music right at the start of this part. XD So funny how it fades out of that happy happy song right to that. XD

  • That scene with the worm, bird, singing fish, and frogs was an amusing rendition of nature's struggle for life or food (or, in the fish's case, a microphone). XD

  • No! Not the flower!

  • lol @ 8:15

  • if you think about it this movie is pretty dark for a kid's movie............anyways I haven't seen this since I was like 8 and I am enjoying watching this again!

  • 4 people don't like blanet :((

  • Man, after being dragged through thornbushes and rolling around with disease carrying vermin, I don't think I'd want that blanket back...

So... wow. I'm calling it. The entire meadow scene, particularly with the frogs and the fish and the worm... A BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!

Also, why is there exactly ONE sentient flower? Did they not want to portray Kirby as a mass murdering psychopath destroying everything in his path?

8:12 LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS! OH MY!

  • Seesh, the appliances were acting really mean to Blanky in this part! I just wanted to walk up and smack Lampy!

  • 4 people are very stupid.

  • this movie is kind of creepy.

  • i haven't seen this since i was a kid. i feel old.

  • I almost cried when Toaster shooed Blanky away.

And I still think I will.

  • @juan5557903 I guess to them, he's the little brother that no one wants the responsibility of taking care of.

  • @juan5557903 i know it is so sad when he trys to cuddle and you can see his face get excited and then there just like DENIED!

  • This is like the cute and funny version of Are We There Yet lol

  • LOL 4:20 to 4:27

    "CUT THAT OUT!" XDDDD

    Radio cracks me up <3

  • 7:44

    who else heard Snuggie?

  • @coffeeisawsumo OMG i did!!!!!!!

  • Man, this movie is such an underrated masterpiece. I think one of the reasons the sequels sucked so bad is because the characters weren't themselves. They were the typically always happy kind of characters. In these ones they all had there own personalities and weren't necessarily nice to each other.

  • @Cubivore10 Agreed! This movie was really about them having to learn and grow and trust each other, and in several occasions throughout this one, they're making sacrifices for each other. And I never liked how Kirby had "reformed" in the sequels. :\ Everyone likes grumpy Kirby. :D

  • Toaster was like MOVE to the frog

  • He was chewing on the Master!

  • I find it interesting that the flower's colours remind me of Blankie's. The flower wasn't concerned about the reflection, it wanted to be loved. Toaster could not return the kindness and love. Similar to Blankie. Just as the flower wilts, Blankie will continue to suffer, perhaps even die with a lonely heart, unless Toaster decides to care about him.

  • @Metroid4ever But the toaster already cares about him......he certainly looks out for him more than the others. ..........Please don't tell me you're talking about house appliance slash. LOL.

  • @Metroid4ever Oh wait......k apparently I didn't remember the movie as well as I thought....I see what you're talking about now....

  • @AslansButterfly

Haha, it's okay. Appliance slash? Nah. That's too extreme.

In general, the group doesn't act like much of a family, more of, "Watch out for your own hide" kinda deal. Though yes Toaster does show a little more kindness to Blankie, he was still pretty mean. So that was why I made that connection with the flower. Believe me, I didn't realize the symbol when I was a kid. xD

  • @Metroid4ever Yeah. You're right. It can apply to almost everything that wants to be loved.

  • @Metroid4ever Never noticed that before. And now that you mention it, after Toaster sees the flower dying, he treats Blanky a lot better than he had before that point.

  • @Metroid4ever well if that's the case, it's kind of a lazy way to show character change within a few seconds.

I'm not saying that it's an interesting comparison but in terms of script-writing, this character change just comes off as contrived and forced. If they had shown a real transition of the toaster having to rely on the blanket to overcome an obstacle, then the character change would make sense and be more subtle. In this film, it just happens.

  • @Volts48

True, true. But that's the issue with movies, is the allotted time and how much can be spent on important scenes. Plus, low budget means less polish on the details. Hence why there's so many plot holes in this movie.

It could have gone more in depth, but for this kind of movie, a kid's film, children don't necessarily understand symbols, so to expand on it is rather mute. But I still think it's powerful enough, even if it was a little rushed.

  • @Metroid4ever dude...tell me why ur comment made me cry alittle? lol

  • @toamatoro614

In a good way or bad way? I tend to do that a lot online. xD

  • @Metroid4ever lol u just made a good point is all

  • @toamatoro614

    Ah, gotcha. Thanks. ^.^

  • @Metroid4ever Never thought about it like that. I was always a bit confused as to why the scene was even in the movie as a kid. But that's pretty deep now that I can understand it.

  • @Metroid4ever

I remember to this day, I would always cry outrageously because the flower was longing for a friend, for which the feeling of love could have save it, but then toaster was too mean and I cried even more. Then I would always question toaster even if they couldnt hear me, I always inquired why did you let it suffer. Idk, I guess I learned abandonment at an early age but my 5 year old mind back then was even fully development, perhaps I was emotional to begin with?

  • "You loudmouth! You big.............. LOUDMOUTH!" I find Lampy to be very annoying, but you gotta admit that line was funny!

  • The flower dies of a broken heart because its never seen another flower *cries*

  • i feel very sad for that flower

  • If a flower rubbed agianst agianst me like that, i would've stomped, crushed and burnt it. Then run away screaming.

  • I can't stop watching the flower scene, even thought it makes me cry every SINGLE TIME.

    Gawd.

  • the flower part was so sad ;_;

  • A little douse of reality here and there in the film for the younger ones. You ask me id say thats really important for them to see at their age

  • LOL 8:14-8:17

  • Jesus, the field scene is unbelievably sinister and dark for a regular film, let alone a kid's movie! All it does to you as a kid is give you funny feelings but looking back on it now...

Brave Little Toaster was truly one of a kind

  • 1:35 rofl

  • @juan5557903

    cause he whiny

  • damn the flower being heart broken almost made me cry

  • Ahwe, I Wish I Could Have Blankey.

  • @juan5557903 Yeah, Why Are They!? /:

  • 6:40 reminds me of me

  • 5:35 *applause*

  • Never trust the radio. xD

  • Lampy is so funny "go find your own place to sleep you little fuzzball" I some how laugh when he says fuzzball

  • hahaha there all so pissed off at radio! XD

  • @juan5557903 I think at this point in the story everyone has their own reasons for wanting to go to the city, namely to find the Master for their own benefit. Blankey is kind of the annoying younger sibling that can't really fend for themselves and wants to lean on someone else. No one really wants to be the one to give up some freedom to comfort him, so they all push him away.

  • @Masqueradia However, you'll notice even towards the end of this segment that Toaster starts to see a little bit how Blankey feels through the Flower incident. Which leads to Lampy understanding, albeit much slower.

  • @juan5557903 Because Blankey whines too much. I mean, come on, he's so gay for that kid.

  • 1:34 how'd the stickers get out of Blankey

  • i love how they give jon lovitz the loud mouth voice of the gang: the radio

  • y wasnt that chair alive

  • @Deathsquad49

    maybe certain things are alive

  • @Deathsquad49 It isn't electric.

  • i allways wonderd whats the blakets head suppossed to be?

  • @myboxerkc

Blanky is an electric blanket. His nose is the dial to change the temperature of the blanket. From warm to hot. :)

  • @myboxerkc He's an electric blanket, I've wondered too.

I think its a dial for the temp or something.

  • Owww.... I love Blankey! He's so cute! I always get sad when he's trying to sleep alone!

  • Brave Toaster My Ass. Scared By A Few Animals?

  • "Go find your own place to sleep you little fuzzball..."

    Aweee! Poor Blankey!

I'm thinking of the little saying thing: R-E-J-E-C-T-E-D, YOU JUST GOT REJECTED! RE, RE, REJECTED! lol

  • AW. poor blankie....i'll snuggle with you!!

  • HEYYY EVERYBODY, LOOK! A CLEARINNGG!!!

    LAMPY FOR LIFE

  • The flower was lonely and saw it's reflection and thought it finally had a friend but it dies or wilts out of a broken heart.

  • wait wait. the flower was dying?

  • Damn what a narcissistic flower.

  • @ThatChubbyDude it thought its reflection was another flower. it wasn't "checking itself out".

  • @Thompsongs I happen to know the flower personally. You're wrong, Thom, and that rhymes.

  • @ThatChubbyDude Uh...alright.

  • @Thompsongs Damn right.

  • @ThatChubbyDude How is Flower these days? Good, I hope.

  • This manages to be the first movie to successfully pull off a Big Lipped Alligator Moment within a Big Lipped Alligator Moment.

  • LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!!!!

The singing fish fighting the frogs and bird over the worm was probably the most random thing I've ever seen in a kid's movie.

  • who do you think would win in a fight the lamp from this movie or the pixar lamp?

  • @firewalker117 This lamp DID survive a lightening strike, traverse the country, and go to college. Lamp FTMFW.

  • I love how they all gang up on the radio! <3

  • That was so depressing when the flower died..... :[

When I saw blankie wanted to snuggle, I snuggled with my blankie that I've had since I was 4

  • that whole scene with the fish and the frogs going after the worm sorta struck me as a Big Lipped Alligator Moment. I mean, there's no point to it really. All it needs is the frogs or the fish singing.

  • now look here fellas! listen to this lol love this and the part with the lamp

  • OH MY GOD! this part crept me out. Especially when they went into the forest. Forest Gump.

  • OH MY GOD! this part crept me out.

  • this movie was always a trip to watch wen i wuz a kid

  • The vacuum reminds me of me. I'm really that miserable. It's great!

  • why was i redirected to this from dethklok?.... very not brutal, maybe if you stuck a fork in him, but that aint happenin here.

  • nevermind, someone had this on my favorites. wasnt me.. lol

  • Ever since I was a kid, like 4, that flower scene made me cry at the thought of being lonely. Even just now, 22, as soon as I saw that sad flower wilted, I just bursted into tears. It was hard to control, it really was. I never thought that a scene from an old animated movie that made me cry as a child, still manages to hold up and still make me shed tears. And I thought I got over that scene. T_T Poor Flower :'( I hope anyone who truly feels lonely, will find someone special.

  • so is toaster a boy or girl?

  • @brancool88

    Toaster is a boy. :)

Even though he was voiced by a female actress.

Some actresses can do many different voices. Whether if it's to sound like a little girl, boy, baby, teen, an elderly person, or a woman.

  • lol poor "blankey" those other guys are being lil douches =.="
