"seems to 'get er done'"? What? The man couldn't walk straight because of the way he was shuffling his feet, so his ball was way off any target. It also prevented him from gaining any momentum, so his ball was slow as molasses, and he still couldn't pull a hook out of it. If by "get er done" you mean, he hit the pins, then I guess so, but if he happens to land a strike, it's a lucky one.
