To me, there's something extremely incongruous about Mick in that get-up signing hoary old Chuck Berry songs. That's a look for Midnight Rambler and Stray Cat Blues.
No one's probably gonna read this, but I’ll say it anyway cuz I feel at least 1 person will. I'm a young designer and graffiti artist, I know there's a million out there but I feel like my art has a unique individual style.
If you just take a min and give me a chance I'll make you a believer. I would love nothing more than to have a loyal following on youtube. If anyone who reads this could press the "THUMBS UP" others will see it. Just a simple button push will make a huge difference.
takes me back to Ricky Tik early 60s and Granada Cinema Greenford Middlesex UK, just released not fade away,1964 paid half a crown to get in,but top of the bill was John Leyton!!!
love to all , Sixties Pete,,thinkin of back then now want some purple hearts, but musnt
This is called roclk and roll for todays kids...the band is the Rolling Stones and no band has defined the rock more than theyhave...listen and learn.
Note how powerful the sound is with NO horn section, NO backup singers: 2 guitars, bass and drums (keys in the background). Keith's take on Chuck Berry is AMAZING.
Love it! Especially at 2:43 where Mick stops singing and all you hear is the rhythm guitar (Mick Taylor) and bass/drum combo. Ultimate example of the basis of Rock N Roll.
If I was to leave a time capsule for a furture civilization to find and attempt to explain what Rock was all about this would be one of the examples. Regardless that they are doing a cover:) Thanks!
This is the song Chuck Berry was busting Keef's balls over on "Hail, Hail, Rock-n-Roll" cuz he wasn't playing the intro guitar part right!

Keith, always humble like his hero Scotty Moore, making his frontman look good.

Sometimes the Stones can do a Chuck Berry number better than Ol' Chuck himself !!!!!

The Rolling Stones, Carol. Live 1969 (complete).
"Carol" Escrita por Chuck Berry en 1959, grabada por los Stones en 1964. Fue la primera canción de Berry que integro un álbum de estudio de la banda.
Aquí una interpretación 'antológica' y legendaria -en vivo- de los Rolling Stones en 1969 (versión completa.

EXACTLY! The rhythm section is what set the Stones apart from all other bands. Lots of bands rocked but the stones rocked and ROLLED.
