  • Great video, I like the tips

  • Do you have a tip for making the ends or corners of you lips appear larger? I usually apply lip plumper to the four corners, wait for it to take affect and then wipe it off. I would lip to know a lip pencil tip as well. Thanks.

  • It is my idea or... I see you more and more handsome in every video... You are lovely!

  • ♥ I love all your videos its so informative. And thank you...I have oily skin and I only moisturize at night and not during the day before I put on makeup. Because it will only make my face oilier.

  • You're my favorite person on YouTube!!

  • I want you.

  • I have been playing with makeup for more than 35 yrs but I AM NOT implying that I have knowledge that is superior to yours at all Wayne. I am just saying that for me, after years of trial and error, this works :)

As well as drawing a line straight across my thin top lip & highlighting the cupid's bow, I draw a line 3 shades darker than my skin, approx 1cm wide, on the centre of my bottom lip & blend slightly. It gives the look of shadow & therefore fullness to my thin bottom lip.

  • I have to say you are my absolute favorite!! I have learned so much from you and am still learning!! If i ever meet you i'd really like to give you a big ol' smooch!! =)

  • 1:44 FLY ON THE WINDOW LOL

  • whats ur horoscope wayne?

  • You are my savior.

  • You're amazing. The straight forwardness is really rare:) love you

  • Thanks for the tips ^^

I have oily skin that still lacks in moisture. If I don't use moisturizer, my skin feels tight and dry...and I tend to break out a lot more easily. My face shines no matter what I do, even if I put on nothing, so I'd rather dab it with a tissue once or twice a day than have it become dry like a desert too.

  • @LittleMadPyro I have oily skin and I use a moisturiser that has squalene in - it's derived from olives and closely resembles the skin's natural sebum. It's Keihl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser. You can get it with SPF if you like, 250ml for about £35 online or at most department stores. I know that doesn't sound like much but I use this moisturiser twice a day, every day and I buy it every 7 months approx.

  • @RahRah0990 I've been using this for 5 years now and my skin has definitely become less oily. Now I'd say it's combination. If you use oils/sebums on oily skin, your skin will in turn produce less oil because it doesn't need too. I really hope that helps because your skin type sounds so difficult!!

  • @RahRah0990

Thank you for the tip, I will look into it online because where I live stores don't sell anything Kiehl's (which is a pity because I heard great things about it) ^_^

Yeah, my skin is rather complicated. It loves moisture and basically drinks my Vichy Aqualia Thermal serum...but if I try to use a light cream with a few nutrients, my face shines like mad. Basically, more than half of my beauty routine comes down to "whatever my skin feels like having today".

  • @LittleMadPyro Have you tried seeing a dermatologist? I don't know anything about your skin regime but it could possibly be your cleanser or toner. Perhaps using products designed for specifically oily skin (or soap! Ahhh!!) is stripping the skin too much so it becomes more oily. I found that the more I treated my skin like it was normal, the more normal it became. The only thing I use that isn't for normal skin is my spot cream (I have moderate acne if left untreated) by Dermalogica.

  • @RahRah0990

The last time I've seen a dermatologist was years ago (puberty acne, yaay!) ^^ Since then my skin has improved a lot though.

I don't think it's my cleaning products, they are all very mild and mostly alcohol-free. I blame the creams (no matter how light they are) because literally from the moment I put them on my skin shines. Guess I should just stick to serums and fluids.

  • @LittleMadPyro A mattifying primer? For some reason I am determined to sort out your skin via the internet haha. I think it's just because I know how frustrating oily skin is. Well, good luck :)

  • @RahRah0990

I have found something...haha, you were right, it does work like a mattifying primer ^^ It's the Clinique City Block SPF 25 oil free daily face protector (taking to heart Wayne's advice about wearing sunscreen).

  • You are just fantastic!!!!! Straight to the point and professional tips! Thank you sooooooooo muuuuuuch!

  • You are such an amazing beauty guru! By far my favourite. You give such useful hints and tips at an admirably professional and scientific level, and I love how you are so down to earth and don't try to sell sell sell high end products that most of us cant afford! Keep going Wayne! :D :D

  • You have a pure and radiant heart. I've just found you and count myself blessed. I am a former NARS makeup artist. I was injured on the job - lifting stock, not applying makeup - three years ago. Watching your videos while i work on repairing my body has truly made me smile in a way I have not in years. Gratitude ...

  • tinted moisturisers arent pricey? from superdrug/boots i got a 'natural collection' tinter moisturiser for £1.99 :)

  • Will the aspirin trick also work against redness from psoriasis? I tend to get this around my hair line and brows, always moving place and it's a total pain to get under control without a lot of expensive beauty routines. Even then it can still be hit and miss.

  • WHATTT???? This was AMAZING =)

    yeyyyyyy

  • I did the 5:12 tips, and wow. I look so hot haha :D Thanks!!

  • Fantastic ideas. I'm up for trying the M.O.M on my face-

BTW, I have a serious query. I'm fairly young (35), have always had oily skin and because of early menopause have "suffered" with facial perspiration when I hot flash. Any pro recommendations for foundations, concealers or powders?

    #LoveAllWays

  • @SumboDeSpeshal Use a good primer, I like Smashbox Photo Finish. Then for foundation try Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. You might want to ask for a sample of it at the Estee Lauder counter. Hope that helps :)

  • You should be a teacher!

  • great video! it would be great if you put more tips for oily skin!

  • Luv it!!

  • You look a little bit like Simon Pegg. In a good way though :)

  • I have to disagree about the oily skin. I've tried not moisturizing, doesn't help at all. I have oily skin and if I don't moisturize my skin feels dry even though my face looks shiny. The best is using oil-free moisturizer with salicylic acid. The skin need moisturizing, the oil doesn't moisturize.

  • great vid ty for the great info

  • why would 17 people not like this

  • luv you!

  • Great tips

  • I just love love love you Wayne and everything you do!!!! I'Ve checked out your blog and it"s AMAZING!!!! Kiss from Russia)))

  • LOVE all these tips! So the milk of magnesia, do you leave it on for a bit or do you just wash you face with it? Thanks Wayne I always love the vids and all the knowledge you give.

  • Bicarbonate soda mixed with shampoo to exfoliate your scalp is also really nice if you have oily hair/scalp. It does give a lot of volume, which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Love the tip to try it as a face scrub, will have to give that a go.

  • does your tip with the aspirin also work with paracetamol? I'm asking cause they sometimes tend to have similar effects eg with regards to headaches etc

  • man i seriously love you wayne !

  • Thank you so much, this video was really helpful!

And the fact that you're so genuine and kind, just makes it so much easier to watch. In fact, the little message at the end saying "Thank you for your time" made me smile :) x

  • I agree with you. I dont moisturize my face and i have oily skin. It made a huge difference. :)

  • I completely agree with you about tinted moisturiser Wayne, and its always very hard to find one for very oily skin. Thanks for another great video! x

  • I love your videos Wayne!

  • I also want to thank you for the none moisturising oily skin. I've tryed everything on the market and even in really small amounts but i could never get my skin matte. Now i cleanse my skin for at least one minute, let it dry, and hey presto, no new breakouts in over two weeks and the oil in my skin is so much better now. You really are the Boss mate :-)

  • What a lot you got! Thanks

  • Will be buying milk of magnesia tomorrow. I love you. :)

  • Hey Wayne! Where can you get the original flavoured Milk of Magnesia here in the UK? I can only find the mint flavour in the UK!!

  • Thank you! That was amazing.

  • Like always great tips, I have to say you are my favorite MU, I look forward to your videos.....I have one question, (it sounds crazy) I have oily skin and use B.E. Bare minerals foundation, do I still need to blot with a tissue? It's the only fondation I use.

  • Great tips - especially using different spoolies w/ the same mascara - brilliant! xo

  • Thanks so much, love all the tips. I have never tried gel liner.

    Lauren

  • Awesome tips! Thanks.

  • LOVE UR VIDEOS. GREAT AND HELPFUL TIPS <3 XOXO

  • Love these videos, so many new tips, and really well presented, going to try the lip ones tomorrow, and oily skin too. Brill.

  • "thank you for your time"... are you kidding? BEST 6 MINUTES EVER!!!

  • I have an oilier skin and i find 'Embryolisse' to be a good moisturiser and 'Shine Free No7' primer helps too. And i have crappy thin lips so thanks for those tips, i will give them a go!!! :) Plus you prob just saved me a fortune as my foundation had run out and i was going to go try Bobbi Browns new tinted moisturiser (Y) Can't believe i've only just found this channel!

  • Great tips and im agree with the tinted moisturising thing, don't see the big deal in using that...and gel or cream eyeliner is the best on the wather line.

  • hahaha I really heard you say "another tips to make your tits look bigger" >.<

anywho... love you and your tips. amazing video, keep them coming!

    xoxo

  • you should do a video on how to tell if anti aging products are working. :)

  • There is nothing I don't like about this guy. If every woman had a friend like him the world would be a a more beautiful place. Love the gel eyeliner tip. Thanks.

  • Thank u for the tips!

  • Could you explain what you mean by oxidisation?

  • @webdivauk it`s when your make up ex. foundation looks darker and uneven after a while or when you keep your foundation open a very long time and it turns kinda orange and it`s not as creamy as it was..I had this experience with clinique foundations and I`m never going back to them ^^ lol

  • @srbXOXOgirl93 Ah yes. I've had that experience with Clinique foundations too. As I was coming to the end of one of my foundations I purchased a new one and when I compared them my existing foundation was a lot darker. I had quite a shock to see the colour change.

  • @webdivauk mine looked orange ofter a month or so :s after that I completely stopped buying clinique make-up lol I was very disappointed and embarrassed cause I walked around like it was Halloween for a few weeks^^

  • i came across your videos & fell in love with them

you just got a new subscriber :)

  • Let's see.....do I want to get rid of my darling Cupid Bow for the the sake of Pouty lips? .........Hummmmmmmm Decisions Decisions!!!! :)

  • I love these videos. You save us people with problem skin an absolute fortune! Not to mention I like the fact that they are natural alternatives :)

  • do you recomend avene water for redness?

  • @twistedtwiztid bdw wht tipz r u looking 4

  • @twistedtwiztid i think u can pt little baking powder on ur hands n rub it through ur hair n u can hav a good hair day i also hav oily hair n d best iz 2 wash dem everyday

  • Hmm...applying blusher to the cheek without smiling was so much better.

  • I <3 U

  • @twistedtwiztid Have you tried putting a little baking soda in your hands, rubbing your hands together then finger combing through your hair starting at the roots?

  • Love watching your videos and a lot of your make up tips makes sense.. like not to smile when putting blush on the apples of your checck which tends to go down lower your face when you aren't smiling anymore...now I'm just wondering if its safe to use milk of magnesia on my oily face even if I'm pregnant?

  • Thanks for the tips!!

  • Your super awesome!!!!

  • I love this video! I had to replay it and write things down! lol Thank you so much for all the info!

  • Great tips for making lips appear fuller. I tried this today before going out and later my husband was staring at me and said "your lips look swollen"!
