  • his fader fell off... :(

  • he said ''DJ A-Train''

  • 4 that time & check it no scratch live, his touch was & still is nice, along wit his skills !!!

  • I was there!!!!

  • @moishaism LUCKY! lol

  • @darionw, met him this 9th July 2011 in Lisbon, gave him my DMC 1998 Paris entrance ticket, to give me an autograph. He was really surprised and even took a photo and published on his tweeter ;)

  • that was a stunning performance at 16 but he was better in 1998 than in 1997...

but only 3rd place in 1998 and 1st place in 1997 : find out the mistake...

crazy b never was DMC champion and his technic was a little bit better than A trak, especially in 1997... dmc champion just because of his very young age, why not ;o)

  • Very technical. Crazy skill.

  • Yea it's good for the first 10 seconds, I don't see the point in that style of djing,, hardly gonna fill a dancefloor with scratching sounds, , but fair play to him all the same!

  • @DAVIEbrudjk the point of turntablism competitions is not to fill dancefloors but win and take home the trophy. It's the same as saying that a pianist at a piano competition or a singer at a singing competition will hardly fill a dancefloor with piano playing or singing.

Club DJing is completely different from turntablism.

    Your comment is just retarded.

  • @DAVIEbrudjk awesome comment.

  • lol the same sounds on this video ised on iPhone app Baby Scratch

  • Shame the equipment let him down, see the fader go flying off? Still great though.

  • Fuck Kanye West!!!!!!!!!!

  • If your that good at 16, then you know hes going to have a bright future...

  • Huge!!!

  • I like A-Trak, but I think Craze was better.

  • @erick329 Craze is on another level compared to any beat juggler lol

  • good skills for his age at the time, but very boring routine.

  • yeah a-trak in his battling prime

  • Juvenile? The dude is only 16 in this vid. What were you doing when you were 16? I mean, besides masturbating to JC Penny catalogs and buggin' your dad for your allowance. This kid was a DMC champ before he could drive.

This style of dj'ing requires more skill and rhythm than club dj'ing by a longshot. And I'm a 10+ year club dj. I've heard drummers that couldn't keep rhythm like this.

  • @teenagetruck BEST COMMENT EVER

  • @teenagetruck, I bet he's probably much better with his wheels of steel than his steering wheel too!

  • Whatever. That doesn't even make any sense. Dj's are the foundation of hip-hop. Your comment is just ignorant.

  • This was good. But it isn't hard to see why Craze beat him

  • his crossfader falls off, that pretty much why he lost

  • Lol i dont think so ... They get judged by the complete package the fader wasnt a big deal !!

HE just didnt have the best routine here !!!

    Dope shit anyway Peace

  • DAMN YOU BEAT ME TO IT HAHAHA

  • What a retard!

  • Too bad Craze came along and hella murffed it after this.

  • First time I saw him mix was @ UnderPressure ONE, a graffiti convention in Montreal, his hometown. He was maybe 13-14.. 1996. Great Dj to ear/see spin the wheels of steel.

    ETHIKAL klothing...

  • from what song is the "rock the beat" ????

  • mantronix step to me (do me) 12''

  • little did he know that he grows up to become Kanye Wests DJ lol

  • @JumpenRinns And half mastermind to the single that took clubs by storm..barbra streisand.. :D

  • ja reparou q o botao do crosfader solta?

  • damn i can't believe it's 10 years ago this clip....

  • Love the entire video :) But around 3 minutes it's so good.

I'm seeing him on saturday in winterpeg :) Gonna be SOOO good

  • In that time, man those cutz were fresh as hell.. I mean they still dope today but more people no the combos of scratches... for 98 he def killed it for real.

  • he rules my world

  • The first two minutes or so isn't too good. But everything after is really awesome. Too much beat juggling for a Worlds routine though. Just my opinion.

  • Anyone know what mixer he is using?

  • Technics shdj1200.

  • his 97 set was way better

  • does anyone know the name of first track?

  • Biz Markie - Goin'off

  • i love this routine,its so sick

  • did ne one notice the crossfader knob fall off around 3:10

  • yeah if u look he does when the camera gos out of the close view at like 3:04 ull see it lol good eye though

  • lol i noticed cuz i own the sunglasses is a must , he points out , u should cop the dvd if u like atrak

  • lol yea you are right

  • boy..thanks for all the 98 video uploads.

    great year.

  • fuxyhau see the title video man

  • is this a dmc champ ?

  • craze got the title in this i think

  • Well, he was defending his world title. So if u defend, u dun hav to qualify through his country again

  • um he made world with that??? i mean hes a track and all but that aint world quality..

i nearly fell asleep still not bad though

  • nah the world title was 1997.

  • dude thats like almost 10 yrs ago now....THESE days that routine would get like 15th..haha

  • bollox

  • no it wouldn't

  • no, today the djs only can figure out to move the faders very fast, and they got no skill.

  • would totally have to disagree , for my own sake
