Marcella is very talented, and a serious musician. But something about her visual style and image does not ring true. I don't think, from what I have read or seen of her, that she really likes the persona side of pop music. Her failure to achieve the success she had with Sioban in Shakespears Sister proves that there is just something missing. Unfortunate, but true.
@GoblinsFriend I agree and also disagree....while it's true, the incredible talents of Marcy and Siobhan when combined was what make SS a wild success, I don't think we got to see the depth of Marcy's talent while in that band. She is definitely a showman (see "Boy", and "I Hate You Now"), and yet she did not come across that way while collaborating with Siobhan. But I do agree that, while both women are amazing as solo artists, neither has had the success that they had together as SS.
Marcy is very real. She will actually personally answer E-mail from fans. In addition to being very talented she's also very sweet. A-one in my book...

She is one of the most underrated talents in the music business. She is a class act.
The music business needs to give her a big deal and market the hell out of her. She is one of the major talents in the world.
