@sahaja75 Yes it can work with other detectors and can be away to cut down on false alerts at slow speeds.

As for compatibility with certain detectors they have a full compatiability list on the 'SpeedCheetah' website

That's a red light camera alert only. If that camera was capable of issuing a speeding ticket (i.e. it was a "Speed-on-Green" camera) the C100 would give different voice alert and say "Fixed Camera Ahead."

The speed limit announcement is just a safety feature to remind you what the speed limit is at that location.
