  • Quality old song!

  • great memory from 1978 ,eventhough they never played any instruments live or on thier records

  • @oct201981

How can you not play drums live?

  • I remember this tune on the radio, November 1978. I was a Senior in high school and times were tough for me, mentally and otherwise. Seventeen-years-old, going on eighteen! I love the memories of good quality, clean music.

  • @Aromaticduck

They were from 70's South Africa, so I guess lucky for them they weren't...

  • WoooHooo.... classy women!!... rock on!!

  • 34 y.a. - still a great song - and still a great group !!

  • A million sales would have paid for a lot of music lessons

  • What I mean to say is, it seems someone decided the girls were not good enough players...so some time shortly after this was made, they brought in the guys from Circus who actually played the instruments on this track. Bad move in my estimation, they lost the girl-group mystique. Their other songs are good...but no hits of this magnitude.

  • Great song. Only kept off Number One by John Travolta & Olivia NewtonJohn's You're The One That I Want

  • How did this group get ignored in the United States?

  • @bigsbz Good question.

  • @bigsbz As many overseas groups always do - A&R folks deciding what the US population will like.

  • Fucking hell...what a bunch of mingers! I always thought Apartheid was a White based one-way street, but the Black guys in South Africa should count themselves lucky.... imagine waking up next to that drummer!!!
