They played in Chicago recently. Two nights. Friday night Yow was transported from the club on a stretcher to the ER after the 2nd encore. Bad landing. Saturday night his only concession to the injuries was having a chair onstage to rest his battered bones. He barely used it. Too busy doing his thing. He can't help himself. Great night.

i saw them two days ago....ive seen some crazy shows but nothing like that nothing like that. david handed me a beer off stage at the end, best beer ove ever tasted and it was just a budweiser. after everyone left he came out and i thanked him for the beer and he thanked me for being there and then went to the van an headed out for Georgia.

really nice guy in person not at all like his stage persona. haha except he was very drunk. x]

I was there, what a beautiful day! Reading rules, best festival on earth. i remember just about every member of the bands playing that day where watching on the side of the stage, the J. L. was about the only band that got such an audience. Awesome!

I saw 'em the year before this - they were awesome! David Yow spent almost the whole set crowd surfing, walking out from the stage a good 100 feet on the shoulders of the fans. They were so cool...why did they have to split up...sniff sniff
