Ive seen a pic of soundwave. You can actually tell at first glance that it is him, and he does have that chest compartement that opens up in the middle of his chest. But in the movie, hes a vehicle.

I recently read an early treatment of TF2 and I don't know how things have changed story-wise since it was released, but in it Soundwave was a shaman or something that turned into a soundwave-laser cannon thing. How the hell is THAT Soundwave? <:S

I'm not confident in there ability to learn from past mistakes. Apparently the character of Frenzy was written with Soundwave in mind, but then they started thinking how negatively the audience would think of their treatment of the character. So rather than rewrite Soundwave to better suit his character, they just renamed him Frenzy and hoped that no one would notice.
Besides, $700,000,000 worldwide? Bay's not going to think he did ANYTHING wrong. <:(
So Jazz and Prime get to look somewhat like their G1 selves in the 2007 movie but StarScream and Megatron's appearances get fcuked? Megatron looks like a mechanical christmas tree and StarScream looks like a robo bird monkey thing.
well i see what you meen starscream and megatron both look like fruitcakes but i guess Bay wanted them to look more like an organic looking robot not like in the comics and cartoons
Because this look is "silly" and "unrealistic". So is a freaky little spider thing that talks like an Ewok on acid, but HE still got to be in the movie. >:(
