And anyway, Julie has been around for a longer time, and has done many many wonderful versions of many songs... which doesn't mean she's necessarely better or worse, I really like Bernadette a lot, and the same goes for Julie, and I don't really think we can compare them, their both brilliant in their own special way!!

I don't know how she could be gettng treatment from her voice teacher to get her voice back if her vocal cords were damaged? She will never have the voice she once had due to the damage done by surgery and plus age changes your voice. Dame Julie is 75; even Streisand at 68, can no longer belt those notes out as she did in her younger years. Your vocal cords just don't stretch like they used too as you age.

@bellabecka2You She never really said she would be singing like she used to. She's not stupid, she knows she won't, she's said so several times. She also knows age alters the voice, she's also spoken about, the thing is her speaking voice was also somewhat damaged, and that was one of her main concerns, and the improvement in the last few years has been huge, if the few last concerts she's been giving are any proof, and as someone said, Julie at her worse, still tops everyone else's best!!

God, I Adore Julie, she is SO beautiful !! I got to see her at Wolftrap in Vienna, Va in 92 before that Damn Doctor ruined her voice...She was a Revelation and absolutely perfection ...she did everything...My Fair Lady, Camelot..The Sound Of Music ..etc.... I Love you, Julie ..xoxo
