  • I was christened, aged 3 months, in Swakop in October 1951. Then we left to go live in the bush in Tanganyika, where I grew up, speaking Swahili first. Have a look at my video - original footage.

    Your book and the video are very interesting. I have visit the regional museum in Swakopmund in the days I was there. There you can find many things about the history of the place and the facts mentioned in the video.
