As for Global Warming! Only a fool could not acknowledge this, its a fact! BUT, we are also experiencing Global Cooling too!!! Its called climate change, IT HAPPENS. Our CO2 emmissions are NOT causing this. Its contaminating areas to a point were we can not live there so we need to use clean energy, but its NOT a crisis, there is NO REASON to cause the calamities that are occuring today all because they want immediate (BRUTAL) change instead of slow change that will make the transition accepable

CERN released a report that warming is caused by the sun and cosmic rays (Mars' is also heating-up). Antaractica has actually gained ice over the past 30 years, a submerged volcano was responsible for the heating in the Arctic circle, and once it stopped, the ice rebounded. War's over buddy, the bums lost.

I read Antarctic, which has underwater volcanoes off it's coast.

Volcanic activity below the ARCTIC doesn't explain the melting of the ice BTW. The Arctic Ocean is huge, and it can absorb and disperse that sort of heat. You can look at underwater volcanoes and vents elsewhere on Earth and see the temperatures are dispersed very quickly, and not very far away even. Like vents spewing out water at 700F+ can have water at near freezing just a few meters away.

If you measured the temperature of the surface water after a volcanic explosion that deep, you wouldn't notice ANY difference in temperature.

Now, in the Arctic Ocean, the water is actually layered. Lighter layers on top of the denser layers, and this actually keeps water at the bottom TRAPPED, never mixing with the surface. Scientists say water on the Arctic seafloor does not rise much higher than 500 to 1000 meters up from the ocean bottom. The volcanoes are 3,000+ meters down!

Al Gore got his award for "informing the world of the dangers posed by climate change" and the IPCC got their award for actually doing the work. Al Gore got an award for being a popular spokesperson for the topic, not for doing any scientific work like real scientists like Dr. Richard Alley do.

As far as Alley's predictions, he's been saying it all a long. We're seeing the ice sheets in the arctic thin out, we're seeing migratory patterns of birds follow warmer trends, peak glacial and mountain stream flow comes sooner, lot's of things.
