You know there are alot of haters saying un-necessary things on here. There are also alot of people standing up for us! *grin* The only time it's "simple bellydancing" is when it's done by someone that doesn't know how to bellydance. It takes YEARS to bellydance.

But I do agree; I love blending of dance forms. Just have to be careful with the presentation. :D

The only relation to bellydance in this presentation are the snake arms, some of the undulations, a few hip pops, and the costume pieces. The rest is club-dance. Nicely done, but please keep in mind that in bellydance, we do not wear exposing outfits, open our legs, or thrusting pelvises.

Yes, I saw that. However, when 'bellydance' is used in the leadline for a performance, presentation, etc., even if it's "inspired art", you have to be very careful how it's presented. It hurts our us professionally when it's presented this way. Even if there was never an intention to cause harm.
