there is like nothing better in that slot. Who would rather have sitrep over commando. If commando was like a red perk or a blue perk (like switch it out with something) than people would have to choose between good perks.

To new players, and to players who rush, commando is like the BEST perk in that slot. Only an experienced player or one who has a plan would use ninja or sitrep over commando. Lol simple, eh?

commando is a stealthy perk that helps u in situations like when ur reloading or out of ammo and someone is trying to kill u, how the hell is it a fair fight if u are reloading and someone has a fully loaded gun? commando helps out there and its not overpowered it takes up perk 3 which replaces other good perks like ninja, sitrep, and steady aim, if u were smart ud back up while shooting instead of rushing ppl w/ commando then bitching about it...

I hate the perk too. It's just so inconsistent and unfair. People get enough of an advantage when hosting or getting a really good connection, and commando just adds to it. Meanwhile anyone lagging still has a rubber knife even with commando.

The dude takes huge leap, and even if his knife is still far from you it kills you.

At least with normal knives, you can see the knife penetrate the body.

With commando, blood comes out of nowhere.

And it also goes through walls, and has some kind of lock on ability.
