Nice simple multiplayer OpenGL Football game. Nice touch using the DemoMusic Soundtrack from SilkCut which is a demoscene demo by The Black Lotus, for AGA Amiga's. What a great demo that was too :) Great music soundtrack by Blaizer (Olof Gustafsson). Suits well.

OpenGL is a (cross-platform) API, which means that if you are an programmer, you can use it. For example, the OpenGL API comes with VisualStudio for Windows. They come with almost all distros if you use Linux.

Good for you :P But it is irrelevant... Ok let me put it in this way... If you program (preferable) C++, then you can use OpenGL.

If you just want to play OpenGL games, then you don't have to install any software. It will work as long as you have a not-too-old graphics card.

those balls and net moves are so bad..

the ball and net movements are calculated in a server machine and then transfered to all the clients in realtime (up to 20). That is a big amount of data to be sent, I bet you can do it better? Anyway, it was just a fast-made assignment in a bit more than one week and I am happy with it :-)

i figured you were in spectator mode, it looks really smooth and sleek, i really like how the net moves, and the fast paced action makes this game look as addictive as slimeball! :-)! is this dowloadble yet? p.s. can you offer me any advice on my game direction click on my name to fin my sample video (not the dmm one sadly!)

Ah! and yes, it is multiplayer. Up to 10 players and some other spectators. All the physics are running in a server machine and the clients just send/retrieve the data in real-time.

Thanks a lot for your comments. They can distinguish because the selected player becomes yellow. Most of the sequences of this video are recorded in spectator-mode so no yellow player is on the stage :)
