Excellent guitar virtuoso. Particularly this solo from what I know in the world of guitarists, is a mixture of Pink Floyd's instrumental jamming on "Shine on you crazy diamond/What do you want from me" spiced up with Mark Knopfler's original guitar bursts at around 0:40, and 1:05. Then a fuller sound to broaden the entire melody when the guitar is behind his head. A bit of Jimi Hendrix's stage performance, and Claudio can make the guitar "speak" here like Jimi usually did. It has everything!

Claudio is without a doubt one of the best guitarists of this generation. I think what hurts him is his image and stage presence. He lacks the lanky proportions of the typical rock god and his moves are more Jack Black than Jimmy Hendrix. If people could just look past appearances they'd realize that Claudio's a first rate musician and creative talent.
He's definitely a fantastic guitar player, but I think that his image and presence help him rather than hurt him. In some videos of him playing, when he's moving around a lot more, he looks a little like Angus Young from AC/DC, and the hair makes him look kind of like a lion.
I agree that he could be in a little bit better shape, though. Oh well, he's an amazing guitar player, singer, and writer, and that's all that matters.

wow....that little freaky effect duel there just blew my mind in two...although Claudio is, if not skill-wise, the better musician than anyone else. He rivals Trent Reznor as THE musical genius.

This doesn't sound like Nutshell at all and I was pretty addicted to Nutshell for a while, both their unplugged and studio version because it reminded me of my girlfriend. Homie, this sounds nothing like it.
