i bought these and hooked them up at 4 ohms with a 5000 watt boss phantom amp nd withn 4 days i already blew one i liked em while it lasted but didnt think it would blow at 4 ohms

@BOOMINBASS915 the 12's sound better than the 15's, but the 15's have more surface area, which would ultimately be louder. You can feel the 15's from about 75-80 feet away.

I don't think they will "explod" but maybe blow some coils. Or you could just turn the gain down a notch at a reasonable level like if it was hitting at 4 ohm. Nice bass.

@xIR34P3R No problems whatsoever, The subs however, heat up at high power, and distort if they are in an overly sized box... If you put them in a reccomended size enclosure they will sound really nice :) i put my thumbs up to both of these items.. the amp puts out clean power which is a BIG + yep.

You obviously dont know what your talking about... Ive had the producs and tested the subs. Running 4ohm @800w, 400w per woofer started to heat them up too much to the point that you could smell the glue around the spiders starting to melt.

at 1 ohm I couldnt even turn the gain up without them distorting and making un-natural sounds.

The amp is not little., For those subs. Please do some research befor you start talking shit. They will "xplod" because they cant handle 1ohm

@DippiFX what series power acoustik, the mofos hit pretty good but they dont sound too great, never been around the p3s and other series of theirs, be better off running some kickers or something like them, dc's, memphis, fi, digital designs.

1. Its not my car :p, its actually my Dads,.. I had to think of a way to get them to play, yet be temporary enough to take them out that night.

2. There is no point to it besides I LOVE bass.

3. I was not trying to impress anyone, just currious about how these subwoofers sounded.. So i bought them and tested them out for fun., took me almost 5 months to scrummage up some loose cash to do this. And this is my version of fun, yours might be sitting infront of a comp playing WoW. nbd
