  • amazing!

  • Awesome!!!

  • I would love to french kiss Linda Perry...what a great mouth.

  • I had to listen to this a few times before I could tolerate it. It's growing on me!!

  • Not quite as good as Hearts cover but still pretty good. Awful video though.

  • not bad ? like it.

  • You have to have a brass set to even think of covering this song. There's more than a little irony here, t here and everywhere in the song and the video.

Spot on and they add their own bits tastefully.

    I'll give it a 9.2 Jim

  • wtf?? lmfao!!!!!

  • I wouldnt want to piss her off cause @ 1:25 she looks fn crazy

  • Hay un par de escenas donde Mrs Perry aparece sobre unas botas enormes. Son el gran Led Zep. La versión de 4 non blondes es excelente..

  • Hats off!!!!

  • Wow, I take my hat off to this rendition by 4 non blondes. It's so tight , so clear and powerful makes me feel like a kid again listening to Zep. for for the first time.

  • is that the chick from the waterboy?

  • AWESOME cover...... when did Eminem start playing bass? lol

  • @guitarguy1431 I never would have picked out myself but once I read your comment and watched it again I almost crapped my pants laughin'!

  • @guitarguy1431 ...LOL!!!!!

  • bad quality

  • bringing images of Led Zep made anew by 4 Non Blondes. The Physical Graffiti apartment is a very inspired moment & the old man from the LZ IV cover walks through it all.................

  • Despite all the controversy whether this version is better than the original, one thing is certain: Linda Perry is such a fuc*ing good singer !

  • @SCHENTH

Agree with you. Even tough I'm a huge fan of LZ I can almost say that this version likes me more than the original

  • @SCHENTH . Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

  • LED ZEPPELIN COVERS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

  • @throwsand This ain't all that bad but I agree with you man.

  • I wish somebody could post a version for this tribute to Led Zeppellin. The song that i wish is going to California and i forgot who did that. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee.

  • @edsoncassim Never the Bride

  • Go Linda! Mad pipes!

  • Music's ok, video is cool...

  • One of the best freaking awesome cover of Zeppelin I've heard in quite a while, this is pretty old, but still rocks like hell!

  • makes me want to SCREAM but in a good way

  • god dammit you better open your eyes!

I love linda perry and robert plant alike - and the spirits fly

    to the misty mountains

  • This is just Hilarous

  • one of the best covers of this song ive heard. I was almost fooled at the beggining

  • not bad but like i dont like this band but not a bad job on this song zeppelin is hard to pull off

  • man i love linda perry if anyone could pull this off they can wish the sound was better

  • She rocks!

She's got those crazy insane eyes - reminds me of my ex wife.

  • Having weird hair doesn't make you sing better.

  • @guitarconasor Talents not everything nowadays. You gota look good doing it too.

  • @Krosstika1 I can honestly say that this cover sucks.

  • @guitarconasor Well thats just your opinion. Im sure Led Zeppelin would be honored, and would completely disagree with you. Do you dare defy the gods?!

  • @Krosstika1 The music and playing is ok, but the singing is just off key.

  • @guitarconasor This is one of the worst things Ive heard, and from a band that gave us one of the worst songs of the 90s.

  • Over all its sounds pretty good but it proves that the musical renaissance of the Sixties and Seventies is well and truly over. Listen to what John Paul Jones originally puts into the bass lines and what is played in this. Is it lack of talent or just plain laziness?

  • @Chocolatefreckles I think it's just because it's the bass. You're probably one of those people who turns your bass up louder than the rest of the instruments and acts like it's what everyone goes to the shows to hear. Go get a Les Paul and start your career over. Besides, I'm certain if you were good enough to criticize this outstanding band, you'd have a video on YouTube.

  • @jlm3575 No, I'm just commenting on the crap which passes for music nowadays. Anyone can strum the **** out of guitar. Anyone can pluck the same note on a bass. You probably could too.

PS I do listen to the bass..........I'm a bass player. I also own a well used Les Paul Special.

  • @Chocolatefreckles Of course you're a bass player. Your attempt to make your bass expertise known was clear in your first post. I'm glad you own a Les Paul and just got turned onto Led Zeppelin, but that doesn't change the fact that the bass is background, and not what you go to shows to hear. And when you say "You're commenting on the crap that passes for music these days," are you suggesting that the 4 Non Blondes (popular in the early to mid 1990's) is music from "nowadays?"

  • @jlm3575 I know it was recorded in 1995 but nothing has changed for decades anyway. We're still in the doldrums. I don't know if I will ever see another true change in direction. I appreciate that bass is a backround instrument but it's also a very powerfull instrument as well. Shear unacknowledged power. Which is probably why I love it.

  • Cool cover too bad the sound sucks.

  • She chickened out of saying "Hey boy do you want to score."

I mean, Jesus. If you think the song was written by the forces of evil, don't cover the damn thing.

  • Shes one of the most successful songwriters in the world at the moment

    writing for other people

  • Great cover

  • hahaha this is horribly awful, god the 90s sucked ass

  • This is a pretty good cover!

  • Linda Perry is Awesome, Great voice great perfomer and great song writer.

  • elle est trop forte Linda Perry =)

    She's the best

  • Slim Shady on the bass haha..i know its not obv, haha but looks like him :O

  • wooowwww!!!!!

  • That bitch scares the hell out of me. Great cover though, 1st song on the 1st CD I ever bought.

  • @Glendale81 Hername is Linda Perry, and she's not scary. She's just a dyke:)

  • Lol..looks like the real slim shady on the bass..i know its not...just looks like him.. haha

  • Simply perfect

  • Man they really nail this to the wall, awesome, im gonna refrain from commenting on the quality, and just think myself lucky that its on here for me to watch

  • holly shit !!!

  • Ilike the way she open the eyes in some parts of the video she look like crazy or something very weird.ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja

  • not bad, but a bit too similar to the original. I even thought the guitar was the same for a second.

  • Thanks for the upload - NEVER seen this vid and have always LOVED this cover!!! Nice ONE!!!

  • awesome job, thats the way a cover should be done

  • Why is Eminem playing bass?

  • Why is Eminem playing bass?

  • Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction on guitar...

  • linda ist und bleibt eine göttin...eine eizigartige frau und stimme...

    mfg

  • i think this is too close to the original . a cover should add something more, in my opinion

  • lol, love her crazy wide open eyes

  • wow. she really sounds quite similar to robert. thats very impressive.

  • Well done

  • sweet

  • HELL YEAH!!!! THIS FUCKING ROCKS!!! One of the best covers of this song, if not the best cover I have EVER heard! Man she can sing.

  • Linda Perry rocks!!! She is the female version of Robert Plant

  • She rocks ! What a voice ! I love it !

  • Now we know what happened to Hillbilly Jim!!

  • So much talent..

  • quanto ti amo!

  • Terrible

  • y has the bass player got blond hair

  • If you like this cover, check out Whole lotta love .. her voice is perfect for that one as well!!

  • I remember seeing this on MTV back in 1994. Loved the cover song, but thought the video was god-aweful! Singer looks hideous! Good vocals though, but f**king face is woof!

  • great job. strong vocals

  • So good, !!!! come on!!! play with Page and JOnes, Led Zeppelin come back to our stadiums!!!

  • Very good cover of this song I wasnt a big fan of this band but no complaints of this cover simply powerful vocals!

  • Amo a esta mujer! A mis 5 años me marco para siempre...Buen cover muy buena voz!

  • excellent

    thank you

  • I love Linda Perry. She can blow my doors down any day.

  • come on?- Dave Navarro on guitar- this version rox!!!

  • she's good mhmm:)

  • If ever a Zeppelin cover came to close to it's original, this is that cover.

Linda Perry does a fantastic job, I love how she spazes out a little bit in some places... that's what rock is about. Going crazy.

    Love it.

  • not so much

  • this is actually a pretty good cover. really. Led Zeppelin will always be the best and no one can really cover them well, but this is alright.

  • Oh how I wish they would have made more music together. Perry has such a powerful voice. The bass was as good as anyone has ever played. Listen to train and comming home. One of the greates of all time.

  • cocksuckers

  • I think a lot of people can't pull off covering a Zeppelin song. But 4 Non Blondes did great in my opinion! The captured the stonerness of the song too. The sound quality on this video isn't up to par though.

  • i'm not a fan of cover versions, but this has to be the best i'v heard by a long way, whole lotta love is good aswell.

  • Led Zeppelin has more feeling and power too it.. I dont really like this cover. Its not bad. But i dont like it

  • Someone has been watching too much porn. I think you should get a life.

  • music therapy in the mental ward, but what shot her hair out?

  • Hey justin123123123 its better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and be known one. Its rare a remake is as good as the original especially when following a band of the Zeps quality...Even Robert Plant was impressed and I would think he might be the reigning authority on the subject......

  • Its a great cover but is wish that the sound quality was better.

  • Yeah, sorry about that though.

  • the singer is trying way to hard

  • They rock it right ! Right outta sight !

  • 1 of my alltime FAVORITE Led Zepplin songs & 4 non-Blondes just make it more Awesum!!! :0

  • Little Miss Perry where are you, Has it really been that long ago? thanks for this one.....

  • She is so talented

  • Is steve perry and linda perry related?

  • they are twins

  • I don't think so

  • No, Perry is just a very common last name, that's all.

  • They both had dreaded brunette hair

  • @samaritan89 Like Perry, the platipus :P

  • Comment removed

  • Well that was a lol

  • good cover song!!!!love it

  • she's having fun with it, and THAT'S the way to go.

    it's a fun song.

their version is good, but it's just not the original.

    although 2:18 - 2:22 was disturbing.

  • 2:18 - 2:22 sounds like nails on a blackboard... and i love it... it's a great cover...

  • It does sound like nails on a chalkboard!

    It is a good cover.

  • aww, was that your pet name for him when you were givin him a BJ back stage?...just kidding, ya, and you're wrong...JB would say this chick is muthafuckr and can sing the shit out of this joint.

  • Trippy!...

  • that was truly bad ass they ripped it up great job.I'd love to see and hear a whole set of them doing Zeppelin songs.

  • you did a great job not 2 many people can do a zepp cover

  • pretty good

  • Good cover, now don't get me wrong, I like 4 non blondes but the whole Alanis Morissette meets Bozo the Clown thing is really hard to watch. She either has a gland problem or tries really really hard to look that stupid but they still did great.

  • note to artist, never try and outperform the original. she's trying to hard and it hurts

  • she isnt trying to outperform led zepplin she is trying to do it right ,not to many peopel or bands cannt do it right ,she is trying to give it her best and do a great job on the song

  • @wheezel100 You have it right...she is paying homage to the original...not trying to one up it...good call

  • Nice job! That's not an easy cover. I thing she added something. Yeah!!

  • is amazing

  • they have some non album songs. i think they're better than the album songs...

if you want some write a message

  • wow, I just discovered 3 non blondes. Do they have current albulms out? Is this song on a cd as well? Thank you.

  • The name of the CD It's ENCOMIUM a Tribute to Led Zeppelin...I think 4 Non Blondes has only a CD and participation in other tribute to Carpenters, Linda has 2 Cd: "In flight" and "After Hours"...I think she is great! I hope someday a performance with Led Zeppelin and Bonzo's son...

  • theirs no way linda perrys cover is better then almighty zeppelins , when zeppelin does it they got the whole hobbit lord of the rings touch to it ,i never really cared for covers but linda has alot of good songs i must say

  • Nice cover.

  • its good but better than the original? that might be going to far, it might sound better than a lot of zeps versions in various boot legs. I geuss the gal is better known for writing a lot of songs for others, pink ect ect

  • good job

  • this one is better than the original.

  • Absolutely excellent!

If they can't persuade Robert Plant to stop pissing about with Alison Kraus then Jimmy should get Linda Perry for the reunion tour.

    She sounds awesome!

  • I like her too, but there's a guy with Virtual Zeppelin that just absolutely kills it dead on.

He would be stellar for a Zep reunion tour. Search Virtual Zeppelin and select Ten Years Gone if you want to see something spectacular.

  • Myself, being a fan of classic and hard rock, figured this would be the last band I would listen to, let alone listen to them covering one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. They did an AWESOME job, they interpreted it in their own way, yet kept the original vibe that made the song so good, and hell, even improved on it! I just read about them on Wikipedia, too bad they had to break up. What a great band!

  • 4:32 Third stone from the sun

  • Wow. This is the first zep-cover where the vocalist DIDN'T totally screw up the song. She is cool!!

  • awesome job

  • hella uggers

  • Sweetness!

  • Who would have thought hillbilly jim was such a good guitarist!!

    Good cover.

  • ah this shit is fucking TRASH

  • what are you on about leo..she is farrkkn awsum!! its rock and roll!!

  • Can somebody please do something about the sound quality of this video? i really love hearing Linda sing this song

  • 4 non blondes with Perry was a great band. I wonder what happened to them.

  • love this song!!

  • Great cover!!!, I couldn't chosse between the original and this.

  • Amazing. I'm speachless.

  • Hmm. This isn't bad, but it's no Zep.

  • I like this version more than original. :D

  • oh my god! This sucks! What's with those facial expressions? Yuck!

  • What are you on about Linda Perry is a legend in music and one of the very best vocalists over past 30 years.

  • Nothing can beat the original, but this is as close as anyone can come. Perry had the power and range and ATTITUDE to take over Plant's part. Thanks for posting! I'd forgotten the video entirely!

  • Much better than the original !

  • These ladies really nail this to the wall, Linda Perry is an amazing singer

  • They're all ladies? Even the blonde on the left????

  • Yep, Christa, Shauna, Wanda and Linda
