I used to shop in IKEA when I lived in Europe... since I moved to Canada IKEA is no longer an option, it is too expensive (prices are almost double compared to Europe). Now if you are bring all that furniture from Sweden and Poland no wonder it's like bringing wood to woods.
@ak99372 In Canada you can get furniture made from actual wood on the cheap everywhere from local supplier, IKEA is really viewed as cheap crap around here.

Ikea is great, you just have to ask yourself, what am I going to use it for, to make sure the quality matches the use.
I have some ikea 365+ products (knifes dishes and bowls) and it really is outstanding quality!
