  • Please America let this man be your next president, not only will you be saving yourselves... but the entire free world from the grasping hands of internationalist capitalism, and globalist marxism.

I dont understand why anyone would vote for anyone else, the rest of them are going to lead you further down the path of destruction. If I was in America I would go door to door and beg people to use their vote to stop the bullshit in american politics

  • Can you tell me, a stranger from Europe who is not well adviced in the current situation. what are the chanses for winning the presidential elections for Ron Paul?

  • Ron Paul R3VO┘UTION

  • RP= Ron Paul the chief of the Republican Party Rip the Podium with Respect & Peace, and he is the only one who can Restore the Power ;)

  • This speech should be translated into Arabic and televised in The Middle East to let them know that Americans are not the enemy but those that have taken over the U.S.

  • @99percentatheist

it doesnt matter, because mass murderers killing and poisoning them is more persuasive than the TV.

as the old saying goes, "action speaks louder than words".

  • I can't wait until the New York primaries. I'm going to meet Ron Paul and shake his hand and simply say thank you for all you've done. He's the only person I can respect in politics today. Such a great man...

  • HOLY SHIT DR. PAUL hoorah, but ... "they" are gonna try and assassinate him me thinks...

  • @ccadd30 If "they" do....I expect riots then chaos then revolution. I could be very wrong though.

  • Paul's going to win! Ron Paul 2012!

  • Dear God I love Ron Paul!!!

  • Ron Paul: the only republican in the party!

  • youtube modifying the view count's the government exposed doing voter fraud

change the numbers all you want it doesn't change the peoples mind.

  • "It is undeniable that Ron Paul has MOVED a lot of people who would not otherwise be interested in politics, and who certainly would not be interested in Republican politics."

I wanna call this out as the biggest lie of the video. Not to discredit Ron Paul, but I think the levels of overt corruption in this country have even more to do with the people who are MOVED right now, coupled with the "rhetoric-action gap" of the president incumbent.

  • Ron Paul should spend a little time talking about how many kids die or come home without a limb or 2! He needs that little extra on the humanitarian aspects....people should think of that too!

  • I had 500 people just on my page who viewed this

  • 3,000 views THATS BULL SHIT!!!

  • "Adam Kokesh Veterans for Ron Paul Will March on The White House Speech"

    copy paste YT

  • @deec269 If Kokesh wasn't a conspiracy nut I might actually listen to him.

  • @tjohn1986 well you seem to have listened to him so which part of his speeches are conspiracy?

  • @deec269 9/11, NWO and all that jazz.

  • @tjohn1986 Well then you haven't done your research. He has and many others also!

  • @deec269 Googling and watching conspiracy videos on youtube isn't "research".

  • @tjohn1986 Your right but watching independent investigations and looking into it yourself is, something you should start doing.

  • will this guy still be alive come the elections .

  • If you dont like Ron Paul, then you must hate Freedom and Liberty. You must be a Jew or under Jew brainwashing, maybe are a brainwashed Christian who has been duped into worshipping Jews and being a slave to the Jews.

  • @viciousonewon were is your proof that Obama's birth certificate is real? The certificate has been debunked not only by Alex jones but by loads of people.

  • @KDips18 and lawyers!

  • Marine Corps active duty grunts here for Ron Paul, rah!

  • South Carolina Money Bomb on January 14th!

Let's dig deep for Dr. Paul and for Liberty!

  • Stop feeding the troll.

    - ViciousOneWon "

Has nothing to vote for, so like all bigots he lashes out at those that are happy and free.

Thumbs down, flag for spam, move on.

    Do not engage it.

  • People voted for Obama because he promised change.Change from what Bush got us into. NOT change INTO the direction Bush wanted to go!!!! Obama's promise of change was the CHANGE from America to the NWO!!!! That's not what the people voted for!!!

  • so many youtube arguments. You wont win over these fucking dumbasss nigger obama/romnee sheep by arguing with them. rp 2012

  • @dehdehsac323 "nigger obama/romnee sheep by arguing with them. rp 2012" wow and paul supporters wonder why people think RP and his followers are racist. you are not helping

  • @MormonsHateMuslims

What a sad excuse for a human being you are. It's no surprising considering you're a Zionist racist.

  • They're so happy when they lose. I guess being retards has its advantages.

  • @eBe4IXcept

    Grow up.

  • Google is a huge part of the NWO...boycott Google

  • Great speech

  • I hope he doesnt have the same fate as JFK...done by you know who. America and others are waiting for this man to change things there for good,I only hope.

  • One more war and the U.S will go bankcrupt.

Please choose Romney, Santorum or Gingrich!

Please choose Romney, Santorum or Gingrich!

  • We will restore Freedom! You won't be disappointed!

  • This complete cluster fuck of a candidate wants to eliminate five federal departments. But hey, what do you expect from a paranoid, creationist conspiracy kook who said "It´s impossible for a libertarian to be racist" when his close friend Lew Rockwell, who wrote the racist newsletters, clearly disproves that.

And Paul is NOT a libertarian. He introduced the Sanctity of Life Act which federally forces states to recognize life at conception. An absolute embarrassment.

  • @Somai82 I know you're just trolling, but all libertarians believe in the natural right to life. Paul just feels that life should start at conception, which is his only non-Rothbardian position.

  • All people believe in "the natural right to life" genius and you completely failed to get the point. Real libertarians would oppose any measure that´s federally mandated but here we have Paul introducing this Bill which makes him a complete hypocrite and shows he´s only a libertarian if it fits with his religion and ideology.

And how the fuck can you be considered alive at conception when you don´t even have a brain and consciousness to begin with. But hey, he´s a dumb ass creationist.

  • Ron Paul says the truth, so he doesn't need notes nor teleprompter.

The words of pure wisdom and constitutional freedom flows freely from his soul.

  • 8 people hate freedom

  • If Republicans are really serious about taking back the White House it's going to be Ron Paul who will do it. Romney and Santorum are too polarizing to beat Obama and for that I'm glad. If either of those two assholes got in I'd be incredibly disappointed in our country and the priorities we're putting on our future.

  • Ron Paul is in the zone now.

  • how can somebody NOT vote for this amazing man?

what is going through the heads of flipflop romney voters?

its simple as that, dont vote rich ppl in ur government, the odds are very very very low that this ppl will represent an average person of the nation, even less when their supporters are "people" like goldman sachs and the rest of the "ratpack" (this should have warned the obama supporters aswell).

corporations are not "people" mr. romney :)

  • Ron Paul or third party write-in

  • @DrWPierce Right. That's absolutely right. Last year I voted third party and this year I'll do the same if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination.

  • Ron Paul Fever

  • Scotland for Ron Paul!!!

  • he's full of shit, his party will not vote with him. america is run by companies. wake up now and don't waste another four years

  • @fuzzjunky

well he's got enough bipartisan support to run as a third party candidate if it ever comes down to it.

  • ron paul has no chance of winning the republican race.

i mean i like the guy, but im just being a little realistic here.

come on, its time to wake up from the ron paul fantasy and actually vote for a candidate that has a legitimate chance

  • @ps3rules87 Ron Paul or none at all.

  • @ps3rules87 who besides Ron Paul has a chance to repeal the Patriot Act, the NDAA, restore Habeous Corpus, Posse Comitatus, the rule of law - end bailouts - end the empire - pardon non violent drug convictions - legalize hemp, defund special interests like Goldman Sachs, Blackwater, Halliburton etc? It's the issues; when the lapdog media tells us he has no chance they are saying that we have no chance to restore our rights that those violations are not important & to watch more tv

  • @BlastofFreshAir mitt romney wants to preserve our freedom and liberties from maniacs like hamas, al-qaida and iran. a vote on ron would be the equivalance of appeasing radical islam.

  • @ps3rules87 we never need to sacrifice our rights (not privileges) for security - our military needs to heal - bounties, special forces, intelligence, using diplomacy & trade will help relations + we would probably pay less for oil buying it from other countries through competition than an expensive empire & war - I am more concerned about the state who claim Constitutionalists & anti war protestors as suspects - and are willing to send people to prison for things they admit doing

  • @BlastofFreshAir

You're replying to a 12 year old kid whose life revolved around playing video games.

  • @ps3rules87 it's the issues - whether it be bad players foreign or domestic - if they take our money & give it to a private prison who lobby's w/ our money for stricter laws to get more sentences hence mo' money and use the inmates for cheap labor that is not America or the ideas - if we pay contractors more money than troops & have bases in Germany & Japan still and let our debt run up and support bailouts that is what our enemies want - our strength is our ideal moral character

  • IRAN SIGNED the NPT(Nuclear nonProliferation Treaty), IRAN JOINED the IAEA(International Atomic Energy Agency), ALLOWS IAEA inspectors to their facilities, IRAN did NOT Invade ANYONE, IRAN doesn't have any nukes

ISRAEL REFUSED to sign the NPT, ISRAEL REFUSED JOIN the IAEA, REFUSED to allow IAEA inspectors to their Secret Illegal Nuclear Facilities, ISRAEL invaded all of their neighbors, openly commits genocide & ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians & ISRAEL has hundreds of Nukes

  • @ps3rules87

Israel is the Threat, Not Iran. Iran didn't threaten anyone. It's Israel and Zionist-Controlled USA that are constantly threatening Iran and are imposing illegal sanctions against them.

And Al-Qaeda is CIA, the US just supported and installed Al-Qaeda in Libya.

Hamas? WTF does Hamas, a democratically elected government in a very small part of the world thousands of miles away form the US have to do with anything? Are you stupid?

  • @ps3rules87

Mitt Romney is an Obama-Clone. Voting for Romney is like voting for Obama or Bush. It's the same shit every trucking election. You idiots will NEVER learn, that's why you constantly get screwed. Bunch of braindead idiots.

  • @ps3rules87 No, it's time to wake up and vote for Ron Paul so America can have a chance!!!!!!!!

  • @ps3rules87 Vote for someone who has a legitimate chance? I'm guessing your talking about Mitt Romney.

Why? so we can put 4 more years of the same shit?

Fuck Red(Republican) or Blue(Democrats) i'm voting for Liberty and Non-Intervention not for the Corporations. Chance or no chance i'm not gonna sell out.

  • @ps3rules87 he might not win the republican nomination but if he does very well in a two horse race between him and Romney (25% - 35%) then he would have the perfect base to run as a third party candidate

  • Ron Paul is not taking this country back to some bumpkin era - more like just 12 years before Orwellian legislation like the Patriot Act and Invading countries for empire - and ending the war on drugs at least Federally ("just say no" to thinking for yourself) - turning the money faucet off (our money) for private prisons, insider banks who finance crime, no more going to wars for oil companies and no bid contracts to the military industrial complex - that will be a lot in itself

  • @BlastofFreshAir Sounds great and I really like and respect Ron Paul. I have ever since I discovered who he was around 10 years ago. But he won't win. Most people in this country are incredibly stupid and are bought and paid for by military-consumerism and religious dogma. Mark my words, it's beyond repair.

  • @jaymum23 Freedom brings people together - whenever someones rights are abused they usu. are first to claim Constitutional rights - if we can help Ron Paul make it a two person race & if he can do to Romney what he did to the others or if he goes 3rd party etc there are chances - he was 3rd in Iowa & now 2nd - if Democrats & Ind register Rep & Reps wake up - if also we can elect a 1/3 new Congress of no Rep's or Dem's just Ind and 3rd party who swear to protect civil liberties things can happen

  • Comment removed

  • The Jim Crow Laws should never have been allowed because they violated the Constitution and other amendments anyways - and so did whoever used them - however I can understand the property rights debate - even though I would support the 64' Civil Rights Act - Ron Paul would not have policies that harm it at all - his policy is to cut almost $1 trill overseas and restore 2006 spending levels before the interests eats up our whole budget & have civil libertarians instead of Goldman Sachs in his adm

  • Ron Paul is going to win and save America.

  • @rkettell Not really, but nice try.

  • @rkettell With all due respect, I think Americans for Ron Paul need to get out of their homes and start talking to people in the street.

  • Dear fellow Paul supporters: Please stop attacking non-supporters when they comment on these channels. You will not win them over by belittling and berating them. You will probably drive them to the incorrect candidates by doing so. Instead, rationally point out where they are wrong about Paul, and point out why Paul's views are best for America. At this point in his campaign, it is crucial that we get as many people as possible to see the truth and come to our side, the side of reason.

  • @FilthyScumX Thanks for having a clearer point of view. I like Dr Paul, but there is no way the American general public will vote for Ron Paul. Though as a VP he could be awesome.

  • @FilthyScumX The reason they get attacked is because they are disingenuous. Ever heard of a troll? If they want to learn about ron paul, they can go to his website, or do a google search. If they're in the comment section in youtube, they're not really seeking truth, but seeking to obfuscate and waste time.

  • If you really want to free people - real people in prison right now for non violent drug crimes - save money - reduce violence - help the economy - also via industrial hemp - save up to a trillion per year overseas and put that to paying off the debt - stop bailing out insiders in banking, oil, mercenaries, use 2006 spending levels - and most importantly more than anything restore civil liberties via the 4th & 5th amendments and making civil liberties important - Ron Paul is your best chance now

  • Ron Paul is fucking Awesome! He's my Hero!

  • I can't stand the ignorance that permeates this country. There are some really uninformed and ignorant sheep among our ranks. These people voting for Mitt Romney are a bunch of sickening slaves. I guess they are content to have their faces shoved in the shit. If this man is not elected to face Obama you can kiss our way of life goodbye. You can forget about the america that our fathers secured for us in WWII, YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT YOUR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS, OUR CONSTITUTION and your kid's future

  • I can't stand the ignorance that permeates this country. There are some really uninformed and ignorant sheep among our ranks. These people voting for Mitt Romney are a bunch of sickening slaves. • individual liberty unless of course your a minority group such as Black (as Paul has stated that he would not have signed the civil rights legislation) also denying Gays & lesbians the right to marry whomever they choose.

to all those who believe in Paul's message, explain why the five agenies to be cut under Paul would make the most sense?. & do you honestly think that even if elected he would be able to get anything through congress that fit with his personal mantra of libertarian ideals?.

  • @MultiInternetfreak Why don't you fuck off.

    Yours sincerely,

    A Black Man

  • @zuluwhiskybravo - i won't stoop to your level no matter how badly you would like me to. thank you & have a nice day:)

  • @MultiInternetfreak

First explain where you collected that pile of bullshit.

He actually said he would of voted for it despite opposing title II but don't let nuance and thought get I!n the way of a good smear campaign.

  • @TheTruthBomb Ron Paul kicked off his third run for president on Friday, but not without inciting controversy. Shortly after calling for abolishing FEMA on CNN, the latest Republican presidential candidate told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that he would not have voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the landmark piece of legislation that outlawed major forms of discrimination against blacks and women.

From 'Colorlines' website - this is a FACT. does this in anyway change your view of his policies?.

  • @MultiInternetfreak

That is not exactly true. The reason why rational people are opposed to the 1964 Civil Rights Act is the effect it had on the PRIVATE sector. He is not opposed to the laws affecting the PUBLIC sector. Search YouTube for 'Rand Paul Civil Rights', and his son does a good job explaining it. Your statement implies that you don't understand his position. Look into it -- the more you do, I bet you will change your view as well.

  • @FilthyScumX - Rand Paul told Maddow he was opposed to sections of civil rights law requiring private businesses to accommodate all comers. in hopes of stopping negative press he put out a statement saying he was opposed to repealing the civil rights act, then saying he actually supported the section he said he didn't like & finally that he would have voted 'yes' had he been in Congress in the mid-sixties.

Paul also claimed President Obama shouldn't criticize BP, as this was "un-American."

  • @MultiInternetfreak

Your statements are implying that Ron Paul's views are racist, but consider this: Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate, Republican or Democrat, who is OPPOSED to the federal War on Drugs, which unfairly targets minority groups, especially black people. Even Obama wants to continue the war on drugs. In addition, Paul's views are the only ones where people are seen as "individuals" and not "groups". Trust me, Ron Paul is NOT a racist.

  • @FilthyScumX Paul replied 'Yeah' when asked by Chris Matthews if he would have voted against the 1964 act in Congress. “But I wouldn’t vote against getting rid of the Jim Crow laws.”

Southern states passed anti-African American legislation. These became known as Jim Crow laws. These included attendance in public schools, use of restaurants, theaters, hotels, cinemas and public baths. Trains and buses were also segregated and in marriage between whites and non-whites was not permissible.

  • @MultiInternetfreak

Sure, I'm going to vote for a Goldman Sachs warmonger because Ron Paul doesn't think private business is the same as state.

  • @TheTruthBomb - i am assuming that you mean Obama' is the warmonger in that scenario?, & i am not a die-hard Obama fan (he has been very weak to his campaign promises), but i think for all the reasons mentioned previously that Ron Paul would be alot worse. (sure the troop would come home). But his other policies i just find appalling. i am glad to see such a spirited debate here, but do not get all entangled into thinking that Paul is the messiah or that you cannot or should not question policy.

  • @MultiInternetfreak

Actually all the other candidates democrat or Republican are Goldman sachs funded warmonger.

And more like broke and lied about his campaign promises.

    He's Larry Blankenfeins pocket.

  • @MultiInternetfreak

We don't need federal dictatorships doing a shitty job for 300 million people from thousands of miles away.

We don't need the IRS, we don't need the DEA, we don't need the ATF, we don't need the Department of paying $300 dollars a print for text books from Mcgraw hill and we don't need a FDA forcing us to use permission slips for medicine.

  • @TheTruthBomb - no, 'YOU' don't want it because Paul doesn't want it - but what do YOU think about it - just saying WE don't need it does not answer the question in any way, shape of form. Specifically what is wrong with these programs that you disagree with personally?, And what is soo dramatically different from Paul's mindset of these issues and the mindset of Friedman economic conservatism of 'The Market Will regulate itself' which clearly isn't the case today.

  • The last chance for real liberty!

  • If you are a Ron Paul supporter go to phone ronpaul2012 com and sign up to be a phone from home helper, like I did. Ron Paul Jedi of the Old Republic. The Evil Empire will fall in 2012!

  • FO LIBERTAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ron' Paul a humble, lovely, witty, untelligent crushing machine!!! His revolution is changing the world and the people are starting to run the show again. He's inspirational. This is what truth and freedom is all about and with Ron Paul at the helm we are unstoppable. His courage makes me weep.

  • Everyone should favourite this video, this is Historic, you will want to show your children, one way or another.

  • Dr. Paul gets points from me for using the phrase "hither and yon".

Oh yeah, and the rest of the speech is awesome, too.

  • For about 10 minutes or so there I felt free.

    The world must wake up.

  • "I would like to thank the union leaders, for not endorsing me."

  • Honesty is Powerful!!!

  • One of his best speeches ever!

  • Awesome win tonight

  • Awesome speech! Ron Paul 2012!

  • Four trillion dollars could not only fix Americas problems many times over, but the PLANET'S problems, we wouldn't need a fucking military

  • Every time I hear Ron Paul talk, it gives me a bit of hope for my future, and my children's future. Please America, wake up and do the right thing. Mitt Romney is no different from Obama....virtually all of his policies are identical to Obama. He was a democrat with liberal policies. He supports corporate chronism. He supported stimulus, bailout, universal healthcare mandates, endless wars, etc...

Under Romney, more of our young men and women will die over sea or come back maimed.

  • BTW. I just heard him say "no regulations" again in this speech, but if what you peeps are saying is true, then ok. He should though emphasise no FEDERAL regulations, as I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking he meant no regulations at all, seeing this is what he actually said.

  • @jaxeedcom He's against excessive regulations on business. He's pro-free banking & free banking regulations.

  • @jaeLAX23 Hmmm.. that sounds a bit like a contradiction in terms. Regulations restricts freedom, but so does traffic rules so some restrictions of freedom is necessery. Total freedom would be anarcy.

  • @jaxeedcom You haven't done enough homework.

  • @jaxeedcom

Rules for the sake of rules more often than not end up making things worse. (think of the war on drugs)

Just because there's no central 'authority' does not mean there are no rules.

Traffic lights, signs etc, have been removed in several European cities. The result is safer and faster travel. When it's left up to the people on the road, they're allowed to think and interact in a natural way. This is the basis for natural law.

  • @NermalsChannel Which cities are these? I know there was a crossing in UK were they removed some traffic lights which turned out benificial, but I've never heard of anywhere they removed signs and lights in the whole city and it turned out good.

  • @jaxeedcom Also consider, his bill for competition in currency would allow for fiat money to circulate for those who still choose to use fed notes. The most stable currencies would survive.

  • @jaxeedcom example: gold-standard & outlawing fractional reserve banking are regulations.

  • Ron Paul train of truth coming through! ALLLLL ABOARRRRRRD!

  • The Glass Steagall Act should be reinstituted asap. Split up the investment banks and commercial banks again, so the banking sector dealing with mortgages no longer can accept huge risks or trade predatory loans, not to mention opperating with such absurd amounts of leverage. Too much freedom for the banks has been proven to be dangeruus... TWICE!

  • @jaxeedcom

    >Too much freedom for the banks has been proven to be dangeruus

Actually it hasn't. Government instituted insurance protection was kept in place, mitigating the perception of risk.

Glass Steagall never prevented mortgage back securities acquisitions.

  • @NermalsChannel No, but under GS only commercial banks could deal with private loans like mortgages, and stood much more responsible for their solvency. When investment banks suddenly could do such loans too with the increased risk this banking sector could take, predatory lending became possible. Then with the trading and dirivitives, the individual banks suddenly were less responsible for the loans they made, not risking trouble themselves if the customer could not pay.

  • @jaxeedcom

"No, but under GS only commercial banks could deal with private loans like mortgages, and stood much more responsible for their solvency. "

Incorrect. The only thing repealed was for s single holding company controlling both commercial and investment banks. "predatory lending" Was only enabled because of artificially low interest rates.

Reinstatement of gs would have done nothing to prevent this from happening.

  • @NermalsChannel Nope, I'm pretty sure about this. Only commercial banks could do home loans and such, while investment banks primarily dealt with business lending. It was first after the repeal investment banks and the rest of the shaddow banking system could also make and trade private home loans.

  • @jaxeedcom

"Nope, I'm pretty sure about this."

Look it up. There's a lot of incorrect assertion floating around about this. Most people don't even get it right about the whole thing verses one part.

  • @jaxeedcom

"not to mention opperating with such absurd amounts of leverage."

Over leverage was enabled by the federal reserve, another government created institution. The current economic trouble never had anything to do with "too much freedom."

  • Nasty leftists can continue to spread lies, and one by one the lies will be put out. Ron Paul is not an anarchist, Ron Paul supports the rule of law laid out in our founding document. Anyone telling you that he wants to take away all the rules is either lying or they have been lied to.

  • RON PAUL DOESN'T BELIEVE AMERICA IS AN EXCEPTIONAL NATION! WE MUST DEFEND ISRAEL! WELFARE WELFARE WELFARE WAR WAR WAR MORE MORE MORE

  • @VictoryInTruth

Why don't you stand in front and sign up for the military?

  • No fucking need for a teleprompter.

  • This guys is a fucking nutjob. His consistency, and his ideas of personal liberty, non-intervention, and sound monetary policies are simply insane. We'd be much better off with a president who lies to the American people, gives our money away to foreign countries, and keeps the citizens in a state of poverty and war.

  • @FilthyScumX

i sense heavy sarcasm in your post.

  • Man, was this a breath of fresh air! The Mitt Romney 'speech' was so disconnected from reality.

  • @cabbagegun

I was soo pissed at watching Mitt's speech, it raised my blood pressure. I like how he talked about the principals of our founding father, and protecting the constitution despite many of his policies that are very UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

  • Man this got me pumped! The time is finaly here...we may get this country back!!!

  • @13Jaysun13 people said the same thing when Obama was elected.

  • GET'EM RON!!!!

  • my president!

  • I found myself, while watching live, and watching again, clapping & cheering along with the crowd. Damn do I ever love that man! He gives me hope for our future, for our freedom...

  • There is a number of things I like about Ron Paul, but there are also a number of things that I think is plain crazy. His stands on no regulations for example. The BP disaster would have been prevented had the regulations actually been enforced. Many parts of our society needs some type of regulation or "traffic rules" to prevent companies from taking risks on our behalf that ultimately harm us more then them. If any idiot suddenly may drive as they please, there certainly be more accidents.

  • @jaxeedcom Ron Paul is NOT AGAINST REGULATIONS. He is against FEDERAL regulations superseding state regulations. Ron Paul SUPPORTS STATE REGULATIONS!

  • @jaxeedcom He isn't for no regulation, he doesn't believe the federal government has the authority to do it, and that position is supported by the constitution. Article 1 section 8. Most regulations are written by corrupt politicians, which is why principally it is a bad thing, also because it distorts the market. People take risks when there is a safety net, as long as the government can hand out favors, companies will take risks. Too many people are mislead that Ron Paul is against rules.

  • @jaxeedcom Ron Paul supports some regulations, arguably stricter regulations that what we have now, he voted against the repeal of the Glass-Steagall act

  • @MadXMax187

The Glass Steagall Act wasn't a regulation at all. It just prevented wallstreet from trading derivatives which was the core cause of the economic meltdown.

  • @kaminoneh The Glass Steagall Act was chock full of regulations (some of which Ron Paul didn't agree with btw), but he voted against its repeal because he could see that it would cause problems in the future.

  • @MadXMax187

Only one provision was repealed. All it prevented was a single holding company from controlling a both a commercial bank and an investment bank at the same time.

  • @jaxeedcom

Those risks you mention are created because government separates risk and reward. BP didn't have to buy or lease the land, BP was shielded by government ruled payout limits, owners of property damaged by the spill could not directly go after BP, government prevented many that could help the cleanup from doing so. And so on.

These 'traffic rules' you speak of come from an arrogant position, thinking that a central authority could possibly manage something so complex.

  • @NermalsChannel Uhmmm... no, that is not right. It was pretty clear from the experts that had the regulations been enforced, the operation would have been stopped much sooner, which would have prevented the blow out. Remember, they ignored the warning signs.

  • @16:28 Since when has Ron Paul used a teleprompter?

  • from australia. RON PAUL for the win

  • Obama's like the fun uncle who lets you drink when your a kid, but than when you get older he's asking to crash on your couch.

  • Who the f needs a teleprompter when you're reading off the tablet of the cold hard truth?! RP 2012!

  • I've never seen him give such an angry speech. Fantastic!

  • I'd like the internetz for giving me a source for unbiased news.
