And yes, youtube has helped me so much with EVERYTHING i'm doing! I agree 100% that keywords are more easily found on youtube rather than major search engines. Look at youtube as a search engine, but your video is your content and your keywords are the tags and the description.

Its near impossible to build your online brand without some type of social networking aspect and YouTube is the biggest to have. A majority of the traffic from my site come via YouTube and with Google search results the YouTube videos are at the top now. If your building an website and you want traffic. YouTube is a not an option is a Must Have!

@bransonguitar You need to tell people to go to your website for MORE information/tips/etc. Give them a reason to. Run a promo, give something away free on your site, etc. pUt a link in your video as well

Youtube is a sick way of getting traffic.Been doing youtube for 6 months now and getting over 100k total views from scratch with average 300 views per video and I got less than 1 thousand subs. People search _ALOT_ on youtube & if you got the right keywords people will find & watch your video.

For the average person growing a popular Youtube channel is very difficult,it does take time and some good ideas,sometimes some You-tubers get lucky and hit a nail on the head and wind up get great popularity,unfortunately that sort of You-tuber is not me,not yet anyway but still trying.
