this is theeeee best funnyest part ( ima keep the funnyest spelled cuz its so fuckin funny) of the movie.. thanks for the reminder.. i needed that.. peace!
Love this side scene of Michael Madsen (before it cuts away to the front scene). It's prophetic & philosophical, plus his profile with the cowboy hat is one of the most powerful miniscenes I've ever scene.
The music is from a horror flick soundtrack called "Lo Strano Vizio Della Signora Wardh". It is from Italy. The song is called "Dies Irae". It's weird how i found this comment. I just purchased this Vinyl LP on Ebay. I had no idea what it was. I collect weird horror and other rare lp's. Anyways, i was just listening to it and recognized the track from the movie and here i am comparing it and seen your comment. Glad to answer the question! :)
I love the make over some people give to madsen . The guy do indie and mainstream ? I'd rather say he does b-movie (bloodrayne a uwe boll movie for christ sake and lately some french shit ) and cheesy mainstream (die another day the worst james bond , ). He s ridden with debt and practically accept ANY role in ANY movie . The guy s just the white counterpart of danny trejo . He knows some people (tarentino and rodriguez) and he's casted just because of his redneck face. Never acted .

I don't understand the point of bleeping out her name until the end. It took away from the seriousness of the film and Beatrix Kiddo is not much of a name we'll remember for years. Still the lines were delivered flawlessly.
Madsen's character sticks out in this movie, as he pretty much does with any role. He's a fantastic actor. It's not often that a guy can do both mainstream and indie films, and still be so cool like Madsen!
This movie is such a tease. We never get to know why Bill and Budd split. And we never get to see the full extent of Uma's training with Pai Mai. We get these brief glimpses. These characters have way more depth than the screen time they get.
the only viper who didn't regret that massacre of el paso was Elle. all the other member felt bad about it. surprisingly she is the only who supposedly survived though i bet that black mamba eventually bit her too in the trailer.
I think the point is that he's waiting for her to give her the chance for revenge - out of respect. But this does not mean that he won't put up a fight. And he's the only one who actually defeats the bride. His move into "bush-whackin' alcoholism" is part of the charade: He doesn't want to take credit for his actions, which includes bein' despised for having pawned his sword (allegedly in El Paso, where they shot the bride) which he actually didn't do (cf. the ronins'stategy in chushingura).
Possibly the most powerful and interesting scene in the whole movie. This is strange because Madsen comes off very brutish, and yet here he functions as a sort of conscience. Very subtle.
Its the a funny scene where Budd drives his truck to the titty bar, gets cussed at by his boss, cleans a toilet floor, and then drives his truck back home.
Why did you cut the scene off so early? And the scene starts to late. You should repost it, the best line got cut out! "That woman deserves her revenger, and we deserve to die...but then again so does she...so we'l..just..see
Funny, I thought I was like the only one who liked this scene so much.. Yep, one of the best scenes in the movie, but I like maybe the reunion with Bill & Kiddo a just lil more ;)
Damn that Madsen guy, he expresses so much things with a few gestures. I mean, look at him! His face does the talking.. And yep, really amazing whiskey-raspy voice too lol
The scene's pretty much the only relationship development between Budd and Bill, and you really get the impression they've known eachother for years, even although this is the only time you see them on screen together. I think it's brilliant.
It's funny how someone calls you retarded, and it's ironic. However, why is this your favourite? It has to be sentimental, because this scene is ... balony compared to every other.
0.45... best part!!!

@Lightzrave I think he was actually the most sympathetic and noble character
in the movie. Up until the moment he makes a deal with the devil and goes
for the cash grab with Elle.
Still, everything he did to the bride he did out of love for his brother. Love his character. Really love it.
