I kind of wished they would have used the Ruger Redhawk or Super Redhawk though. Those pistols are iconic and it would've been really cool to have attachments such as longer or shorter barrels.

@LordoftheMojave A Desert Eagle would not make sense, this might since revolvers often have a good grip even for large calibers and are very accurate when scoped and revolvers are less likely to Jam, whilst the desert eagle makes no sense...

@Andydag904 Well, I think all in all the .44 is better than the Rex - it's just harder to handle, cause most of the people want to fire very fast - even if a few bullets miss; with the Rex you can kill an enemy even if 1 or 2 miss, but with the .44 every bullet has to hit in CQC. That's what makes it difficuilt to handle, and that's why most of the players use the G18. 20 shot and rapid fire is definitly the easiest to handle.

However I prefer the .44 - matter of style i suppose^^

They seem to have killed it in the real game a fair bit. I LOVED in in beta and well like this video shows it was mental. Now anything over close range it does very little damage, snipers have nothing much to be scared of, even with the 3x scope version :(

@Clarkeisawesome good question, the rex is a great pistol and when it is used at very close range like under 10 meters, it is better but the .44 magnum can be effective up to 30 meters but the reload is slower and takes longer to fire off shots

@SCep34life actually, S&W .50 is more powerfull still, the .60 nitro express too if you count rare/exotic guns. Desert eagles come chamered in 3 rounds too, .50 being fairly uncommon, since is mainly used by hunters, who opt for more managable .44 or .357s with more shots.
