Been enjoying your videos this evening, sir. hats off, I would have thought it nigh on impossible to edit Peckinpah, who was so spot on with his own work, but you've taken this movie and made it work to Fielding's brilliant score even better than he did. If you're not already, you ought to be doing this for a living. Seriously.

....thanks again for the encouraging comments mate.....this one was pretty tough to edit, keeping the pace, choreography and the peckinpah editing style intact...g;lad you liked it. Cool to know someone out there knows his way around great movies...kudos to u sir.
Oddly enough for a Peckinpah film, the dialogue scenes (w/Arthur Hill and Gig Young) are the highlights of this film- not the action sequences. Especially the sinister, viciously cynical conversation between Arthur Hill and James Caan in the car.
That´s exactly the stuff to cheerish on a rainy Sunday afternoon! :-)
Considered by many as a "minor" Peckinpah, KILLER ELITE nevertheless offers A LOT to enjoy: great photography, a superb score by Fielding (thanx Intrada!), the always cool James CAAN (watch Thief!) and one of the best actors ever Bob Duvall (A Civil Action!). And since I love raw revenge stories this is exactly my cup of tea!
Tried to mimic Peckinpah's editing style by chopping up the film completely. Don't know if it worked. Hard to keep some sense of rhythm with this one. Glad you liked it.Thank you.
And it's a shame that is true. I've been a Fielding nerd for only the past couple years (though I've been a film score nut for more than a decade) and Fielding's music really took me aback when I first heard it. He's certainly the most criminally neglected film score composer of the Silver Age and was an absolute master of his craft. Nice to see videos like this on YouTube in his honor.
one of the coolest vids i have ever seen..i may hav said this in the past.but deserves another comment and many views..great work...great style, good selction of scenes.there is nothing harder in trying to piece it all together
This Trailer Looks Really Good, If Jason Messes Up The Remake, It Would Be A Crying Shame!!

I LOVED Jerry Fielding's work as a composer. He had a great harmonic style and instrumental color. They don't write like him anymore.
