I remember hearing the Sunglasses song in summer of "84" and then the following summer hearing the tune "Never Surrender" because of heavy MTV rotation back in the days when they actually played music. Actually, "Sunglasses at Night" peaked at #7 on the hot 100 over here but his song "Never Surrender" was actaully a bigger success peaking at #3 on the Hot 100. This song peaked at #17 and "I Am by Your Side" peaked at #18. However Hart did score, three #1's in Canada. Ironically "Sunglasses at Night" only peaked at #24 in Canada.
