  • @teh2Dgamer

    Thanks for postin this vid.

I just saw this game today at gamestop and remembered from your vid (as I saw it several months ago) how cool the gameplay was so I bought it (for 4€).

    It's awesome!

  • I have this game and it's really good game, but too bad they never make sequel to this game.

  • my friend just gave me this game today he said i might like it havent played but now that i know all about the deus ex thing im gonna like this:D

  • Project Snowblind was originally a Deus Ex spinoff called "Deus Ex: Clanwars."

But after DX: Invisible War bombed, and Ion Storm shut down Eidos decided that it would best not to use that IP.

You can still see a lot of Deus Ex influence in the game from augs, to the story.

  • @DoctorWeeTodd

There's also a connection with Deus Ex Human Revolution. The Xbox and PC ports of Project Snowblind were handled by Nixxes Software which also handled the PC port of HR.

  • how do you get to this part i find it hard getting out of where ever i am

  • Can u ADS in this game?

  • @kanufa this aint COD -___-

  • lol you shot yore team mate at 0:30

  • This game was like Crysis meets Bioshock. But WAAYY before either of them ever came out and it never got the attention it deserved :(

  • I remember playing this game when i was a child...So nostalgija..I have been played this game without ant memory card day after day because i don't have much games in these days because games was expensive and i have completed all game without memory card i still remember the last mission when i completed...One of the best game ever i love ps2 and this game XBOX for me is real shit... :)

  • Thumbs up for being the best game ever for the old xbox and they should make a sequel!!

  • I played it on Xbox and hated it. It just reminded how better Halo was

  • I played this a few days ago and was fascinated. One of the best shooters for PS2. Better than Black or Urban Chaos or so... Just fun to play^^ PS2 is the best console ever!^^

  • this game is one of my favorite shooters. this game gives you so many options to beat missions its insane

  • Still holds up today. Would love to see a next gen remake of this. This game also had Online Multiplayer with operaable Mechs! !

  • ej how to a movie do it in the TV ( PS2 )

  • one of my fav's from last gen..

  • I remember playing this game. I played through the whole game and thought it was ok. However, I was playing the first 10 minutes while a friend was watching and he was throughly uninterested and I thought, thats why nobody remembers this game.

  • @lepepelepube actually noone remembers this game because it's left over art and map assets from an unfinished deus ex game. Crystal dynamics put this together using teh remains of a dead deus ex 3 that ion storm was making when they closed their doors.

  • Should i get this game on original xbox or ps2,PLZ tell me which version is better(NOT THE PC VERSION ONLY ON CONSOLES)

  • @supers91 since online is dead now on both consoles it doesn't matter. They have the same graphics, the same single player... when xbox live on the original xbox was still up it was better tha ps2 online but the servers on ps2 are shut own too so it doesn't matter.

  • @S0ryiu actually based on this vid the xbox version has slightly better graphics.

  • @noideac Yeah, it is usually so that Xbox has a little more polished surfaces and shinier looks. For exampe I had Balck for Xbox and it looked very shiny. I sold it. But now I'm getting it for PS2 and based on the videos here, the PS2 version of Black is not that shiny or polished..although this and Black looks pretty good and playable. I have this on Xbox and it's a great game!

  • @lahmarko well most games like this they are only slightly better looking on xbox. But games like splinter cell and just cause are MUCH better looking than the PS2 versions. And actually games like SSX tricky look surprisingly better. Also, most games have a boosted frame rate, so even if there isn't any "Noticeable" enhancements, there still something like that.

  • @teh2Dgamer can you make a walkthrough on where all the health and bio-energy upgrades are at

  • this game can be played in split screen, mean 2 controllers of ps2????

  • LOL friendly fire at 0:30.

  • does any1 know a fun puzzle game for ps2? most of the games i've seen online are either fighting (1st/3rd person) or adventure.

  • @Commandos12 Bombastic, Aqua Aqua, Mojo

  • i was such a retard when i sold it

  • I think this game is what I need, ive been playing to much rpg's.

    I NEED SOME ACTION!

  • @pgf95 Play Action Rpgs

  • @TeitiTT hahah.yeah,i didnt explained my self correctly.Ive been playing KH 2,rogue galaxy,persona 4 things like that.

  • This game reminds me of Killzone.

  • This game looks kinda more like an Red Faction mixed with a somewhat dues ex feel....i wish i had played this when i had the chance...

  • This is probably my favorite shooter of all time.

  • I think the game ranks where it should....

  • @AxeBlack84 Underrated as in overlooked.

  • lol at 00:28, hahaha

  • Damn those are some impressive graphics, especially for 10-11 year old hardware! Graphically shows that the PS2 is capable of nearly Halo-like graphics, if not completely so!

  • Not even close... Halo had no loading in maps "HUGE MAPS" No loading after dying, split screen co - op and a sliky smooth frame rate, back then most shooters never ran good on ps2 or Xbox.. This was a good game though, just nothing special.

  • @oasisbeyond Halo is overrated, and doesn't run as smooth as you think on the Xbox. Having played the Xbox version recently (since I own the PC version), I realized that it doesn't move that smoothly by comparison. Furthermore, there are tons of FPS games on the PS2, and Xbox that ran perfectly smooth, and even some that are on a comparable scale to Halo.

  • hey everyone! if you want to play this online with other people (like in the good 'ole days) on the PC, you can get a progran called hamachi which puts the LAN multiplayer over the internet, so its like having a big LAN party but its online! once i learn more about hamachi ill start inviting people, or if you already play, please invite me over hamachi to play a round or two...

  • I think that snowblind is alright for what it is, but considering it's a des ex spinoff it misses several marks set by it's predecessors.

  • @BillyCauseyjr Well, obviously, if you go into it expecting Deus Ex, you're going to be disappointed, but if you take it for what it is, an not what it's not, it's still a good game.

  • @teh2Dgamer yeah, but when it released people spent the alot of time hyping it to be Deus Ex 3 when really it's more like Red Faction 2.

  • @teh2Dgamer I just saw a video where a guy called Snowblind a Crysis rippoff..... that guy appropriatly got flammed.

  • @BillyCauseyjr That's like calling Pitfall a Mario rip-off.

  • @teh2Dgamer I wish they could combine the two. Project Snowblind was more the action side and Deus Ex seemed more the roleplaying side. Hopefully Deus Ex 3 will be that dream.

  • Comment removed

  • man if they did a remake of this game but kept the plot and story and improve on some stuff this would kick the cod series

  • this game was a blast online! the mechs were way cool!

  • @BoydImages Completely, this is the reason I first got X Box live.

  • sometimes this ace game reminds me of district 9. probs because wen you blast a dude with a shotgun, he goes flying!

  • One of the best ps2 games ever made :D

  • this is probably my favorite shooter of all time...this game gave your so many options to go through levels...i tend to like games that give you multiple ways to beat missions

  • omg I remember playing this game! Its was pretty decent

  • Great shooter.

  • I recently beat this game, kinda disappointed that there is hardly any replay value now that online is dead, great game though. :)

  • Yeah, I really liked this game, though for some reason it tended to make me motion sick. Sgt. Major Chung is awesome!

  • I got this game around the time it came out. I was pretty damn good online too, was in the top 10 for a while, and had almost a 7 K/D ratio. I ended up selling it back and went to Socom 2, because hardly any people played online.

  • im at mission 5 and i forgot how to save please hit me back:P keep dying at mission 5!

  • I forget what it looks lie, but you have to find a save terminal.

  • its a great game. i played it. the story is epic

  • got this toghter with my xbox :) i have try the ps2 version, but i rather go with xbox, anyway nice game that could have become some bigger if microsoft did look on this and made it there trademark

  • this game is the shit. I would pick this over Halo 2 any day. sick sigle player too. A very deep FPS as far as how you could approch a firefight.

  • Erm, question to any of you.

"A required security module cannot be activated" or something like that keeps popping up when i try to run the demo. What do I do?

  • I think I played this game right around the time you uploaded this. I got an Xbox 360 about a week later, but I still found this to be a pretty fun futuristic shooter. Good thing I'm not one of those "graphics=better games" people. You miss out on kick-ass games with that mentality.

  • i tottaly agree @Deeznutz5150 ;D

  • apparently this was supposed to be a multiplayer verdon of deus ex but because deus ex 2 failed cuz they dumbed it dow, they changed this games name. You can notice this by the fact allot of the games enimies are from deus ex

  • its a great game

  • Remember playin this.

    It was pretty good.

  • hey are there someone there know are there code to project snowblind for ps2

  • I checked Gamefaqs, and there doesn't appear to be any codes. I'm sure there are some codebreaker codes, but I don't see any in game.

  • what other games do u guys play online for the ps2???

  • The most popular PS2 online games are the Socom games. Battlefield 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and the Call of Duty series are also popular online as well.

  • I'm playing this atm. Kinda reminds me of Killzone..

  • This game rocks my socks! i think this game is USA only though

  • use 60 hertz and max brightness = a next gen graphic game on ps2

  • I tried googling a bit but can not find out if this game has bot multiplayer! Anyone know?

  • yes it got multiplayer

  • its got multiplayer online

  • The PS2 servers have been taken offline, but I think the Xbox, and PC servers are still up.

  • LOL im sad too say but this game is better than time shift. in my opinion. I think time shift needed more work put in the game and a better story Line.

  • Timeshift was OK, but nothing special. It was definitely worlds better than Blacksite Area 51 though. That game was a huge disappointment compared to Area 51 on the PS2 and Xbox.

  • Cool.

  • do ppl stil play this online?

  • The PS2 version's servers have been taken offline, and I couldn't say about the Xbox or PC version.

  • i have this one

people who played deus ex will love it but since i played this one first i loved deus ex

  • awesome game

  • Just beat this game over a week ago. So much wasted potential. Also, the lack of ragdoll effects really killed this game. All the NPCs had the same death animation, they fell to their knees then onto their stomachs. This was especially disapppointing when you used the shotgun on someone at point blank range and they didn't go flying. The story could have been a lot longer too. Plus, the lack of boss fights. The one and only boss fight was made way to easy with the Flacchete, a drone weapon.

  • i agree 100% with you this game was underrated.

  • This was a really good game but way too short, i remember reaching the end thinking i was only half way through and then being shocked when the credits started rolling.

  • Got this a couple of weeks ago for 50p.

  • You've been ripped off.

  • dude he said 50p not 50d.

  • Great video dude. Did you recorded this with a video card on the tv? If so can you say one? I'm thinking of buying one. PS: 5/5*

  • I just use a dazzle capture card, but there are better ones out there.

  • great game, but avoid the buggy pc version

  • You'd figure they would have patches out for the PC version that fix the bugs.

  • the game is very good!

  • the shotgun is monstrous lol, slow-mo point black is often instant ko

  • this is one of the greastest fps's of the ps2 life

  • does this game still go online

  • Not on the PS2 version.

I do believe that you can tunnel the game via lan, but the official servers have been axed as far as I know.

The Xbox, and PC versions should still be online though.

  • i completed this game a few hours ago, its really really good. nice video

  • I have ths on the Xbox. This game was definitely slept on.

  • i got the game aroun xmas time and its awsome but ya know i like my 2nd xbox more my first 360 broke b4 xmas so i got a new one shit lukc to the old ones waranty just wore off

  • i agree, i picked this game up not knowing anything about it and was really impressed, great game

  • haha. red barrels = explosion

  • I remember this game, i thought it was going to be terrible to be honest but it was really fun.

  • HEy so your tellin me the ps2 version of this game that i just bought TODAY doesnt work online? please tell me there a possibility like settin up lan or something, anyone plz!!!!!!!!!

  • Check out Xlink, or even XB Connect to see if you can still play it online via lan tunneling.

  • idk what those are, a little more info plz? and thanks this will help tons!

  • I can't post links, but if you look Xlink, or XB Connect up on google or any other search engine, then it should take you to those websites.

  • what do i do when i get to the website lmfao....

  • You download the software of course. There's probably an FAQ on those sites that tell you how to hook it up. I haven't visited those sites for quite a while, so I don't remember.

  • oh daym... lol this would be so bad ass!

  • Oh yea. If someone still wants to expierience P:SB online, try to look into XLink. It's lets you play LAN enabled games online. It takes a little work to setup and you may have organize games, but I think it'll be worth it.

  • This is probably the most fun FPS I've ever played. I LOVED the action in the cutscenes and the fluidity of the game.

I think the length was just big enough. I want to get my moneys worth, but then again, I don't have the time to be playing an FPS the length of a common RPG.

I played this game online on the PS2 and I didn't enjoy it much. Things felt jerky and lifeless;some may not like BGM when they play their FPSs, but I gotta have something instead of COMPLETE silence.

  • so this game doesn't have online play

  • Not in the PS version. They killed the servers a while back.

  • oh, how i wish i was any good on console fps games. ☻

  • Well, there's also a PC version of this game, so if you're good at PC FPS, then check this game out on the PC.

  • i always wnated to buy this game never did but i am going tto now

  • this is a fucking awesome game i have it!!! LOL mother fucking good game!!! LOL I LOVE IT FUCKERS!!! audio preview is awesome its fucked to motherfuckers BYE!!!

  • i have this game i beat this level this is an awesome game!!!

  • For PS", this had some seriously advanced graphics and physics, only it's length let it down at around 5-6 hours worth of playing time. Taking over robots was awesomely cool.

  • T.O.N.!!!!!!!

    bn wantn 2 add 2 my fps'z

7 i juz had it n my handz bout a week ago @ gamestop

    ThanX 4 thz
